While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco’s delivery of fresh, authentic food has not. Everything starts with whole chickens that are slowly marinated in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The chicken is then expertly fire-grilled to perfection the authentic way – on our signature open-flame grills – then hand cut into your favorite Mexican entrees. We put that same dedication and care into our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. At El Pollo Loco in Arlington,TX, we believe that when real food meets real fire the result is great taste that will keep you coming back again and again.

Extremely disappointed in the taste of this salad!! The chicken was extremely dry and tough!! The salad was wilted. The only reason I did not go back it was because of the 20min drive back. I ordered through drive thru. The gentleman that took my order was extremely nice and the service was very fast!!

This is very good chicken. Cole slaw and beans are very good sides. Service can take 10 minutes but it is worth the wait.

I can’t believe there’s a El Pollo Loco in Texas and I never knew! I’m so excited I finally found one and now realize there are several spread throughout Dallas and Fort Worth area. I live two hours away but every chance I get my wife and I love this place so we’re gonna come through and even go out of our way to hit up of El Pollo Loco every chance we get. The location here in Arlington was literally excellent. It reminds me of the experience I had when I was younger in Hawthorne, Cali. Would love if el pollo loco would spread out to Tyler or Lindale.

El pollo loco as always been one of our favorite places to eat while traveling to Mexico , so when I saw the franchise here I was exited , don’t get me wrong the food is not bad , but it is just not as good as the original , I understand it has been adapted to the local market but I wish the flavors would have remained closer to the original. Ok chicken , very good service and clean facilities

Apparently when you don’t want onions here they give you extra. Every time I say no onions it seems like cut up half of one and put it on stuff. Luckily it’s a taste thing and not an allergy or it could’ve been worse.

On our way back from an errand, my wife and I stopped in at this location. She had heard about a new menu option and wanted to try it. I ordered one of the staple items that I, as a creature of habit, order every time. My food was, overall, very good. The only exception is that it was chocked full of raw white onion. I don’t mind white onion when it’s cooked down and soft. This wasn’t that. My wife’s food came out and her entre was stone cold inside and the tortilla wasn’t even a hint of brown even though it was “grilled.” When she politely asked them for a cooked version, they didn’t seem too happy to oblige, and they hadn’t even greeted us or put forth any customer service effort for our visit. Generally good food/value, but this location could use more training. Will gladly return to our usual location in Bedford.
