I ordered the new salad with double chicken, it looked delicious. I poured all the dressing and mixed it all up. The first 2 bites were pretty good but the 3rd one had a piece of chicken in it. The chicken was hard and dry. (Not at all the typical moist EPL chicken.) Thinking it was only a few, I began picking out the hard dry ones but it was all like that… gross! I took it to the counter and showed the girl, she waived over the Mgr. He looked at it, said NOTHING, walked over to the prep table, got a little cup & put chicken in it and brought it to me. No words, just set it on the counter and walked away. Then I realized much of my dressing was wasted on the gross chicken and had hubby go ask for another one and they acted like they were paying for it out of their own pocket. Unbelievable! I gave 2 stars for the food because once I got the fresher chicken, it was better. I shouldn’t have had to pick out the hard, dry chicken to enjoy my meal.

My order was missing 2 tacos and the wrong burrito was in the bag. we didn’t open the bag till we got home. We were going to do the survey but the receipt was cut off on the bottom and the survey is numbers and store number were not available for the survey. Very disappointed.

Went here to pick up a simple order. One of the people working there had cut their finger. Very sad for her. Particularly because, apparently she was the only person there capable of producing anything in the store. It took about 30 extra minutes for the food to be ready. They forgot a salad that was paid for, we got no tortillas, and the “burritos” were a big sloppy mess. When we called, the manager was “busy”. Pretty disappointing that you can’t get decent food at a food establishment.

I previously had left a one star review because in 3 separate occasions that I had been there they never got my order right especially when it came to having something all dark meat. But today I went and there was a really really nice person named Cassandra in the drive-through who just completely made my day. She was so friendly so nice so lovely that El pollo loco she is the only reason I am changing my review from a 1 star to a 5 star. You should give that girl a raise!

Definitely the worst location. Food quality consistently bad, service questionable as food is always missing. Was excited to see them building this but after 3 visits 3 bad experiences, I still drive to the Ontario location. Please use hair nets and fix whatever is causing the odd rice and chicken.
