While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco’s delivery of fresh, authentic food has not. Everything starts with whole chickens that are slowly marinated in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The chicken is then expertly fire-grilled to perfection the authentic way – on our signature open-flame grills – then hand cut into your favorite Mexican entrees. We put that same dedication and care into our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. At El Pollo Loco in Indio, CA, we believe that when real food meets real fire the result is great taste that will keep you coming back again and again.

This a fairly new location and is quite nice. The food is consistent and the prices are decent. In my experiences the service has been hit and miss. I’ve had terrible service with many issues/missing items and other times I’ve had great service. Worth the gamble to check it out for dinner.

Well I asked for salsa with my order. There was a line behind me. I received my order. After I specifically asked for their green and red salsa with my order. I looked in my bag, no salsa no napkins. I had to get back in line. I was not only late to work. I lost my appetite. I had to super rush and I didn’t enjoy my meal.

First visit to the new Indio El Pollo Loco. We’ve always like their fruit marinated chicken. Much healthier than fried.

As good as can be expected. One menu board was out so I thought offerings were limited, ( my bad I guess…). Food was OK. The cashier was very accommodating and apologetic about not being able to offer a full menu and the wait. Since it is a local hang I would go back.

I got the chicken tostada and the chicken was extremely dry and burned. The lettuce was old and white. They also didn’t provide the cilantro dip that’s suppose to come with it , besides that they seem annoyed and rude that you’re even there ordering .

So far after 3 visits, I haven’t had a good experience. The first 2 times the chicken was way overcooked and tough like it had been sitting under a heating lamp for hours. The latest time the chicken was good, but 2 items were missing from my order, plus no utensils as ordered. I will update if it gets better.

I am tired of El pollo loco. I’m not stopping no more. The chicken is dried out and it’s ridiculous. I need this close down your store. And whatever you do don’t believe local revit was

Had to wait forever for my large salsa. I saw them fill container n then they set it down. Didn’t call to say come get it. My number was 4 ahead of me n they made me wait my turn. I waited 10 minutes, friend timed it, before I had had it n went to counter. Almost didn’t get it, looked at me like wait your turn .needless to say I won’t go to this place again. I’ll drive the extra 2 miles to next one which is friendlier
