By far the most gross thing….pink chicken when showed the cashier the cook came over and tried to tell us that’s the correct color….. I’ve been cooking for over 12yrs on 2 different restaurants and yet never heard of pink chicken being a thing….you can get a light brown coloration close to the bone marrow when boiled but never on grilled chicken.

Had the taste for something fresh and light yet filling…El Pollo hit the spot. Ordered the Chicken Fajita Tostada salad which was full rice, beans and crunchy lettuce and delicious! The chicken is always full of flavor-charbroiled,marinated and juicy. The fajita crisp/tender bell pepper/onion saute alongside the guacamole, sour cream and salsa (of course) from the self-serve station added just the final touch of zesty flavor. Even while the store was busy during lunch, associates were friendly and helpful.

My husband and I just went and ordered 2 salads, 1 large sprite and a taco. In total we found 4 hairs in BOTH salads. The sprite was a sparkling water and the taco was so cold. Please stop brushing your hair over the food, please heat the meat and maybe add some syrup to your soda machines once and a while.

Never cared for El Pollo Loco, and still don’t! No meat on chicken. ALL SKIN! Sides aren’t that tasty either. Salsa, NO FLAVOR! I only liked the corn and flour tortillas.

Great place for a mostly healthy quick bite. My one big complaint is I always say no salsa and they ask like 3 times per visit and then sometimes I still get salsa in bag that I have to pull out and give back. I go here often enough that guy at window should know me and my order and that I dont want salsa.
