Love this Mexican food in Round Rock, we often get a whole chicken meal which is really delicious, smells incredibly, fresh, served with small sized hot tortillas, 2 types of salsa, beans, rice, lime and grilled onion. Cheese Nachos are also very good, the portion is just perfect size. All the time we take away the food. Fast and friendly service.

I just tried El Pollo for the first time and WOW! SOOO yummy! It’s going to be my go-to from now on when I want chicken. And I’m so grateful to find juicy, delicious chicken that’s not fried! My belly is happy! The half chicken is an AWESOME option. It’s quick and flavorful. I’ve had better charcoal chicken, very affordable. The employees are so sweet and kind. For all those reasons it’s a 5 star.

Food was delicious. Picked up for dinner around 5, worried the meats would be dry but it wasn’t. The chicken and Carne Asada were very good as well as the Charro beans. I suspect they stole the cook from Tequila Bar and Grill since the Charro beans were what you would there once upon a time

I used to eat here probably three times a week but I’m no longer going. You know I get that all these people get to come here from other countries and enjoy the country that I was born in. What really upsets me about these people is that they come here and they get jobs and yet they speak zero English.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, my husband came to pick up some food and he even asked for extra salsa, by the time we got home ( we live in jarrell so it was a drive) when we opened up our bags we noticed the salsa was NOT EDIBLE we don’t know what was wrong with it but it didn’t look right, I gave the benefit of the doubt and started eating my beans and beans were undercooked and hard so I decided not to eat anything at all being that I’m pregnant I didn’t trust the rest of the food. When we called for a refund the person who assisted us over the phone said it would be no problem we could stop by tomorrow for our refund and they checked the batch of salsa they served us and he claimed it was “because they didn’t mix it right” we even asked to speak to a manager so that way we wouldn’t have any problems going back for our refund and they didn’t want to hand over the phone and reassured us we didn’t even have to bring the food back. When we went back the next day the lady who assisted us the day before at the registered refused to give us our refund “because it would come out her paycheck” is what she claimed verbatim. We showed her a picture of the food because she asked why we didn’t bring the food back and laughed at our faces because “we didn’t eat the food just because of the salsa?” When we showed her a picture we told her maybe it was mold, she said “that’s not mold” at this point I was furious and told her it didn’t matter if it was mold or not the matter of the fact was that it was no edible and that was not the only thing. She claimed we were the only ones who complained and that being said we shouldn’t get our refund because of that. She kept making excuses and being extremely unprofessional and rude until I started going ballistic she decided to give us the office number where then the office itself gave us our refund. We spent 40 dollars on the food on top of that we gave them a tip and we paid with a debit card. If it wasn’t much money or if it was simply because we didn’t like the food we would of not cared and not bothered calling them or going back but there was no way we were just going to spend 40 on top of gas for food we didn’t eat at all.

food is pretty good, but the workers there are rude. they were laughing at me and my boyfriend at the window and on the mic and when i received my burrito it looked like this i just know they did that on purpose, still tasted good though.

I loved the food it was really good. My husband had the chicken tacos and I had the meat tacos. They were very good. My son and grandson had a plate with meat, rice and beans they really enjoyed theirs too. Everything was very tasty.
