Quaint little Mexican restaurant literally run by Mom & Pop. Mom cooks every day, Pop serves. They prepare very good meals, Good sauces, & classic dishes. I’ve had many very tasty meals here for several years. It’s out in the middle of nowhere…yet I gladly drive 40 minutes.

Was not what we know as Mexican. My fajitas were basically steak & shrimp with onions & peppers. No fajita taste to them at all. Very bland. My husband had the nachos, which was a bed of soggy chips, with shredded cheese & meat. No flavor & could have been made at home for cheaper.

There’s nothing there really except a playground an a place to park campers or tent an a gazebo to sit underneath an a big fire pit for big groups pets are welcomed but must be on a leash or a chain hook up no pets are allowed to run free park charges for stay 15 a night.

The food here was so good! The best mexican food I have had in the upper Midwest. Lots of flavor and decent portions. It’s a little more expensive than your typical Mexican restaurant but as other’s have stated “you get what you pay for”.
