The servers were kind, however the food and overall experience was not good. Although this is a Mexican or “Tex-Mex” restaurant, it is no where near authentic. Additionally, the tacos were a rip off. There was hardly any meat in any of our the tacos (as seen in the photo) and the rest of my family said their menudo had little to no flavor. Also, the service was extremely slow. After the owner asked us how our experience was and we explained what we didn’t like, he just listened and didn’t do anything. We paid full price for everything. Note: if you’re going to charge $12 for 3 MINI-tacos (with very little meat) and a side of rice and beans, at least add more meat.

Worst burger in my life. I ordered what was supposed to be a “new” item…the JR Smoked burger. The meat itself tasted old and there was no type of Smoked flavor whatsoever. It had no condiments on it. I have recently moved to this area and was not impressed with my visit which was my third. My second visit we had fish tacos that were very bland. No type of sauce like most other restaurants offer. The customer service is great but the food is a let down. I’ll give it a fourth time and will update this review when I do. It will be the deciding factor as to whether we will eat here regularly or not.

When inside and one the staff told us to sit anywhere we wanted. It was around 7pm. Waitress was very quick and very nice. Brought our drinks without waiting awhile. They wait on the food was Very long. Like 30 mins. Wasn’t busy at all, maybe 10 customers at the most. Food was OK. The enchiladas and flour tortillas were pretty good. Beans ok. Good tea. The waitress made multiple trips to ask if we needed anything.

Rare gem in GBC and all of Cedar Creek area! Been looking for good Mexican food here for the last 2 months since relocating from the Coast——and I finally found it! The only thing that topped the hot chicharones and enchiladas was the top notch service! Can’t wait to come back and try the Tamarindo Margarita!

Visited Fernando’s for the first time. Its a nice little restaurant with ample indoor seating plus a patio. The staff were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately my food wasn’t that good. I had the Taco’s el Carbon, the tortilla’s were dried out and the meat was scarce and overcooked. IMO, It has potential to be a good place if they put a little more effort into the food.
