NO WIFI but The food is amazing. The staff is also great. The place is really nice inside. The charge separate for coffee. My son said the taco meat was chewy. But my breakfast was perfect . If you drive by you wouldn’t think its such a nice clean place.

Really good food! The staff were nice. The Baleadas were so good and huge! I love the Honduran empanadas too! Delicious and everything was fresh! Tons of fat in the beef though, only reason they did not get 5 stars.

I ask for black bean with my food . They said they had two type of beans I asked for the regular beans .. the beans I got is watery has bacon in it and sausage. I don’t eat pork and I didn’t ask for pork .

Small but super clean place, amazing authentic Honduran Food. Sopa de res was amazing, freshly made tortillas came with the soup. Also the baleadas are amazing and the price is super great. Overall it was an awesome experience, definitely would recommend to anyone.

This was a Really great place to eat! I live about a quarter mile away and have never had time to stop by and try it but I’m glad a finally did! The food was fantastic and the prices were even better. The server was very attentive and our food was out within ten minutes. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area.

Came on a Friday afternoon and it was dead. The food was mid. We ordered chicken enchiladas and the waiter insisted on beef twice but we stayed with chicken. She brought out beef and we had to ask for chicken again. When we bit into the chicken enchilada, we ended up coughing realizing we bit into bones. When we brought it to their attention and ask for a possible refund. They denied saying that we had already eaten it (1bite) and could not take it out the bill because it’s “already in the system” Horrible, will never come back here again.

Its small and homey, which is something I enjoy when it come to authentic cuisine. Very nice and clean restaurant with polite staff. I ordered the Steak Meixican Tacos which were a little heavy on the onions but still very delicious. Excellent choice for anyone seeking a change in atmosphere. I would definitely return and recommend El Portal Maya!
