We have eaten at most of the Mexican restaurants in Chesapeake and this is now #1 on our list! The food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is very pleasant and our server, Andre, was great! The staff is very friendly and the dinner was prepared quickly. Best salsa and chips!! Booth seating is spacious. Outdoor seating as well. A definite must try!!!

Did not have the whole enchiladas, but I tasted enough to say that it is on par with the rest of the Mexican Restaurants in the neighborhood. It took a long time to get our order. Their 15 minutes was actually over 30, but they were busy on a Wednesday dinner. The food was okay to good. The spices were on the mild side; it needs something more to elevate the flavor. It’s actually almost too mild. A burnt piece of fries in the bag of chips is a small detail, but it counts in the big picture. Anyway, I will be back for the dine In experience soon. The place is okay for now.

My new favorite. The burritos are absolutely packed with meat. I had the burrito California and it was beyond amazing. Customer service is also very good. Salsa is some of the best I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant. Highly recommend you go. You will not be disappointed in the slightest!

I stumbled across this location today. It’s really good. El Puente is a Mexican restaurant that opened in 2023. They have an amazing outdoor patio and the food was great. I got the fajita taco salad and it tasted just like it sounds. The staff was unbelievable, I don’t get service that good anymore. The business is locally owned and I have been going to the one in Western Branch for years. Highly recommended.

This was my first visit and I went with someone who goes all the time, so I thought it would be a safe bet. Not quite! My friend and I ordered the lunch steak fajitas with rice as a side, and the steak was very dry and served at room temperature; they were not even hot. The corn tortillas were fair; they seemed to have too much of a flour texture to them. The rice had corn and carrots in it which seemed like an odd choice, and it was very bland. I took one bite and immediately wanted to spit it out, and I didn’t eat any more of it. My friend did the same thing; she wasn’t a fan of the rice at all.

Birria Tacos . I could drink the compote it’s so good. We came in for lunch hoping it would beat out some of the local spots (Plaza Azteca and Laparilla) and it didn’t disappoint, everything was fresh and on point. Got the margarita flight and it was amazing, they explained each one and they didn’t have that well tequilla taste that you get other places. A welcome edition to Deep Creek and Chesapeake

We watched patiently as they were getting this place ready to open and were so excited when it finally did! This is a great spot in the grassfield/deep Creek area. It’s so clean and bright and the food was excellent and fast. The best part of this restaurant is the staff! They were so friendly and willing to go out of their way to ask if you need anything. They also have a nice bar for anyone looking to just go get a drink.
