Cozy little place. The food was delicious and service was excellent. Prices are great. See lunch menu (posted date 6/15/23)

Last week, the food was pretty good. Ordered a large quacamole and the bowl was full. Today, Thursday, August 24th, ordered the same large quacamole and the bottom of the bowl was barely covered! Quacamole was no good, or plate of food was lukewarm and had been sitting in the back for awhile! Not happy with this place! The food was old, from lunch time. My stomach was cramping by the time I drove 10 miles to the house!

This place is my favorite part about having to work in the Mauriceville area. Anytime I go there I make sure I schedule around lunch so I can visit here.

Just okay Mexican food, not great. My favorite things were the chips, salsa, tamale, and great diet Dr Pepper. What I didn’t like is that the taco meat had been rinsed, the cheese was a cheese food product rather than cheddar, and the guacamole serving was about a tablespoon. I asked if they could put raw onion on my enchilada and my husband wanted the same on his chimichanga. It amounted to about a tablespoon of raw onion on each plate. When we got the bill, they had charged an additional dollar for each plate because if the onion! It took a long time to get our food even though we’re the only ones in the restaurant. We probably will not go back. There are lots of great restaurants Mexican restaurants around. There’s no need to settle for mediocre.

This evening I ordered the 2pc fajita burrito dinner with queso. The online menu price said $12.99 but when I picked up I was charged $18.14. I know and understand the current supply chain shortage and price increase of food BUT it’s also the responsibility of the establishment to make adjustments to their in house menus as well as the ones they post online.

We’ve eaten a several times over the last year. The food is alway great and the staff was friendly and prices were nice. This last time we went we saw a couple sitting next to us complain about the food to the staff after nearly eating all of it then the staff replaced the food with hot fresh food. The customers sat there and ate nearly all of it again before complaining about the food. There was nothing wrong with the food they apparently just wanted their food for free. I disnt hear one complainant while they were stuffing their face with the food.
