The tortilla chips were fantastic. I loved the spicy salsa that came with them.

We come here occasionally over the years and love it! Best chips and salsa in the area, kind staff and great menu!

On any other given day I’d give this place a 10 star review. Love the food an generally the service is amazing! I understand we all have our moments and days but the waitress this morning was completely out of control attitude heavy footed short with you and gave me food no silverware ignored me when I asked. The two ladies that were working were very unwelcoming and I was not the only customer to fill that way the poor people behind me had worse spilled salsa all over her. I eat here 3 times a week and now I’m questioning if I’ll be back..

This place has the best tortilla chips ever, the salsa was great as well. I had the flautas and they had amazing flavor and all meat just the way I like it, no fillers like potatoes and carrots. Refried beans and rice were so good. The service was great very friendly and attentive. I gave a 4 star only because I was taken back by the green sauce served with my flautas was cold it just didn’t go with my meal. However I explained that to the server and she brought me a side of warm sauce and it was perfect, I don’t know why the first was cold. Other than that we will be going back and I will just ask for warm sauce next time.

Being Mexican, I avoid eating at Mexican restaurants because they disappoint. They’re always mediocre and flavorless. This place, is an exception. Food was delicious. Even their chips tasted fresh and not stale. Definitely recommend this place. Staff was very friendly as well.

I am very surprised by all the positive reviews. Our service was great, and took my review to 2 stars, but the positives ended there. We went out for a girls lunch and drinks, all of us ordered carne asada street tacos and they were seriously lacking in flavor and even the rice & beans were bland. Tap water tasted gross and warm, even with ice. Our corona-Rita’s were very weak and tasted like dirty water as well (maybe something wrong with the ice machine). A friend ordered a frozen cocktail, and it only tasted like plain shaved ice. I know there’s slim options for Mexican food in our area, but I would not choose El Ranchero over others again. It was so disappointing to have spent money on that.

I enjoy El Ranchero. I like to order the El Ranchero burrito with chicken or the two chicken tacos with rice and beans. I asked for no onion but got onions in my burrito. The food always comes really hot and tastes really good except the refried beans. They need to add some kind of seasoning to the refried beans. The rice is very tasty and has good texture. It was busy in the restaurant tonight but it didn’t take long to get our food. We also ordered huevos rancheros but she brought that out 10-12 minutes after she brought out our other orders. Also, the huevos rancheros came with lots of onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes on top instead of chili Verde pork. Our waitress did a great job. She apologized for the delayed huevos rancheros and assured us it was on its way. She kept out drinks filled and checked on us multiple times. The chips and salsa were good but chips are better when they’re fresh and warm. The seats are comfortable and they have plenty of seating inside available. The parking lot has limited parking so overflow parking is in the dirt parking lot to the East of the restaurant. We ordered four entrées and a sprite and the bill was $60. So $15 per entrée is at current market value. The place was clean and maintained to my eye and I did see them sanitize/wiped down ever table after every customer.

We’ve eaten here 3 times. The food is great, but the service is not. We walked out today after sitting for 20+ minutes waiting to have someone take our order.
