Great food, wonderful service! Glad we found this in Stewart. This is truly a hidden gem in this town. The chips, salsa, and cheese queso were all delicious!!! My daughter couldn’t get enough of the queso! Then our entire party of 6 agreed that our entrees were amazing, even my son loved his chicken fingers. I had enchiladas cooked to perfection. We took advantage of the lunch specials for even better pricing, making our overall bill very affordable. Will definitely visit again when in town.

Ate here last night and was WAY overcharged for my meal! Had another family with us so wasn’t paying attention until after we left the restaurant, but for 1 ACP regular, 1 Vippy Special, 2 sweet Teas, and 1 mixed drink (old fashioned) I was charged $48.02!!! Looking at their menu prices today that total should have been roughly $35 and I still left a 15% tip on the table at that price! Not too happy about being ripped off on a meal! Very small portion on the ACP, roughly a handful of food on a small platter portion…my son was still very hungry when we left. Staff was very slow but food was decent quality. But not a restaurant I would stop at again. Just please review your dinner check before paying and the guy with our check, instead of giving it to our table said he would leave it at the register (should have been a warning sign but who knew), and coincidentally he is also the person whom rung our ticket up! Not a very trustworthy establishment so beware!

Awesome place to eat. Very clean, great customer service, employees are always in a good mood and smiling and joking. Great atmosphere. Food is served fast and is really delicious. We dine here regularly. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed

This was my first time dining at this restaurant. When I was seated with my guest, we were told that we could only have one menu to use between the two of us. There isn’t a menu shortage… we just weren’t allowed to have more than one. It seemed totally ridiculous to me, which is why I can NOT give this restaurant a five star.

El ranchos is the salsa to my chip. As a Mexican food lover (we make them soft tacos at home ) I personally thought it was a SCRUMPTIOUS restaurant. Food is good, the people seemed fun, and the decor was on fleak. Take your friends family and kids to el ranchos rn or I will for you. Also want to note that I got a drink to go and it tasted of salsa, all the other drinks did not so this was a little odd but ooooo I am a FAN of salsa so it was a welcome perk

Let me start this by saying I’ve been coming to this spot since I was old enough to remember eating Mexican food, in saying that I’ve never been more disappointed as an adult returning to eat at a childhood favorite restaurant. My fiancé and I ordered the Arroz Texano with a chicken enchilada and a cheese dip, that’s all- no drinks, we paid $43 and some change for what was a lunch portion in the To-go container!!! $43!!! I could have sat down and ate at nearly any other place around the area and got at least 3 entrees, not to mention it was very skimp on the meat and HEAVY on the rice.. I eat Mexican at least once a week and this was by far the most expensive and least amount of food I’ve ever received. The simple fact I paid $40 for a $20 dinner is what has turned me down. They need to remember this is a small town and you’ll get better business if you go back to normal prices and not change them constantly. Usually I’d recommend El Rancho to those passing through Stuart- this will no longer be the case unless they can get it together.

I’ve been in the restaurant business most of my life so I recognize shady practices when I see them.There Pico was no joke 99% onions and the the fajitas were 75% veggies and hardly any meat.I understand times are different and prices are high for everything but this place is straight up ripping people off.Dont leave this place without seeing recipt for your meal especially if it’s takeout.Been eating here since the place opened and it’s not the same anymore.Hard pass from here on out!
