I was passing through town for work, and felt like having some tacos. I Google search. It leads me here. It’s 2pm on a Friday. There’s 2 tables seated. One lady sits me at a table and asks what I want to drink. I order water. She goes 2 tables over and proceeds to talk and talk and talk about anything and everything for 10 minutes, no exaggeration. I hop up and start to walk out. “If you’re just going to talk, I’m just going to go,” I say. “OK.” She replies. Literally, no remorse as if she’s somehow justified in her behavior. I ask for a manager, she claims she is it. If so, then wow. I will never be back. Pathetic excuse for a restaurant.

The food and the service was excellent. I ordered a combination plate. My only complaint was that the taco was a cheap Taco Bell quality taco. The setting was wonderful for the 2nd date with my new girlfriend. I would definitely dine there again. Coming from California, the bar is set pretty high when it comes to Mexican food. This place gets a great rating from my girlfriend and I.

Was enjoying a cocktail with some friends after we had finished our dinner and one of the owners came over to our table , our glasses still half full of our drinks, snacking on some chips, and told us we were done! It was 8:40, they close at 9. Was not impressed with the “throwing us out” So they could clean the Kitchen. I’ve had my last meal at El Rancho. In this Economy, I was shocked.

Atmosphere a was a bit chaotic between the Casey’s carts being pushed around and the yelling food was very good and hot. Waitress was prompt but tried cleaning tables before we had a chance to get our bill. It was a unique dining experience.
