I went to drive through which was convenient. The service was fast and friendly, the food was nice and hot. I just gave a four-star because it’s a little pricey for tacos. Especially being veggie, I find it unfair that they charge you the same for vegetables or meat.

Great authentic Cuban/Mexican fusion! The restaurant team was welcoming and provided excellent service! The restaurant & restrooms were spotless and the atmosphere was wonderful. I highly recommend El Rey if you’ve never tried it, and of course if you’ve eaten here before, you already know what I mean! 5-STARS!

This has to be one of my favorite places to get a quick bite. The food is delicious! The prices are a little higher than fast-food but it is well worth it. My favorite dish is the Ropa Veija tacos that comes with back beans. I always add a side order of plantains… it’s like getting a healthy dessert.

#42 Cuban style is amazing!! Chicken and plantains are to die for 😉 and the cantaloupe drink is always satisfying!!! After about 20 time eating here I decided to try the cafe latte and I loved it. Great service and great food too

Food is mediocre. Not sure if it’s the same owner once started from Bunker Hill or the one located by Washington Ave. For some reason the food is more fresh. Even the drinks. I got an Horchata and torta de fajita. My coworker a ropa vieja and well we could have made it better at home. Again not sure what happened, if cook was changed or different. However there’s other places with better tasting food.

This location of El Rey just opened not too long ago, and I would advise if you haven’t been to it you should go ASAP! I always loved the Cuban Taco, but my oh my… try the Ropa Vieja taco or plate and you’d wish you had tried it sooner . It’s sooo good! Their sauce that goes with it is out of this world . The food is so simple, makes me feel like my mom or aunty made it, yet so flavorful and next level. The restaurant is kept super clean and seating is socially distanced also.
