This place is definitely a hidden gem in Macon & I can’t wait to eat here again. This is a family run business and we could tell this food was made with love just like our moms would have made it. I asked for “tacos dorados” (tacos fried to order). She said they had them but I got tacos in preformed shells. Ugh. No bueno. All the meat—chicken, pastor and carnitas— tasted “off” despite the spices. Nope.

This was my first time trying and honestly I love it! I wanted some birria tacos and these are definitely what I was looking for. Food was fresh and the flavor is everything I’ve been craving all day! Staff is super nice and place is very clean. I don’t think I’ll be going back to another restaurant any time soon. This is one of my favorite places for authentic street tacos, gorditas and truly authentic Mexican food. I lived in Texas for ten years and missed “real tacos”. It’s great to have authentic Mexican cuisine in Macon. They have a great selection of homemade salsa’s and hot sauce!

Very nice staff and actually authentic Mexican food which is hard to find in Macon. Came for the Cubana which did not disappoint. It was stuffed with chorizo, crispy chicken milanese, hot dog, egg, ham, avocado, beans and lettuce. The bolio bread was nicely toasted, too. Their handmade vegetarian and chicken tamales were also super good. Wish this place all the best.
