Since my wife Sanjua and I arrived in Santa Barbara, our dream was to open a restaurant. Thanks to the support of our families and friends, we were encouraged to open the first El Sitio Restaurant on Salinas Street in 1989.
Thanks to you, our valued clients, we now have three more locations serving authentic Mexican food in Santa Barbara and Goleta: De La Vina Street, Fairview Avenue, and Calle Real.
We invite You – our distinguished
clients – to try our Tortas, Tacos, Burritos, and Specialties.
Our wish is that after tasting our food, you come back to El Sitio!

Tacos are good, a bit too pricey for me taste but the stars of the show are the burritos. I love their breakfast burrito!

One of my favorites! I always get the Brocheta de pollo! The salsas match perfectly with my plate and with the tacos! I have tried almost everything on the menu and it was all delicious! I highly recommend for mouth watering authentic Mexican food!

Expensive, soggy food. My veggie burrito was all mushy beans and rice, and they did not even take care to clean the grill before grilling the two veggies they put in my burrito. There was meat mixed in. The pico de gallon was mostly onions. The cubana torta super soggy. And we paid almost 50 dollars for that plus another soggy chileno relleno burrito. I would just not recommend it at all.

I had good things about this and the positive reviews are right. I had an asada burrito and was pleasantly impressed. The beans are ground finely and excellently prepared. The asada is cut and flavored deliciously. Very reasonably priced comparatively to other Mexican restaurants in Santa Barbara. Definitely A MUST for Mexican food foodies!

I like the chile verde here, pretty much the only burrito I ever get.

Was looking forward to a good chorizo and eggs, unfortunately, I was disappointed. Way too chunky, no taste, very little egg…

Good food! But bad customer service and if you love salsa you better be prepared to be limited Whit only two little containers. The salsa it’s terrible and they don’t see to care on improving that matter. Every time I go there, the burritos since to be smaller
