I’ve never gone to a restaurant that the floors look like they had a lunch rush .There was only two people in the restaurant and no one else. The floor should have been swept up I made the surface look clean. Wasn’t really impressed with the food it tasted like it was renewed and out of a can. I’m usually not too Pacific on my reviews but when I didn’t want to eat the rest of my food and wanted to leave. I think we should warn other people. They’re waiter that we had was very nice and accommodating. She did look a little embarrassed when she was helping us with our food order.

The food gave me the runs immediately upon getting home, my wife couldn’t even finish her meal because it tasted nothing like what she grew up loving as a kid, and my daughters corn dog was only half breaded and awful looking. The salsa tasted like ketchup with some chunks of onion in it, but at least the chips tasted good and fresh.

Have never had anything here that didn’t taste like it came out of a can or package. Don’t know how they have stayed around so long when there are so many places around that serve fresh, authentic Mexican food. I guess it reminds people of Mexican food their American mom or Grandma made, if that is what you’re use to, you will love this place.

I ordered a beef taco salad. The guac was old and browning, the beef’s flavor was flat. They didn’t remove the olives like I asked. Their salsa tastes like vinegar. Not very good.

When we used to live here, El Sol was one of our favorite places so coming to town we decided to go get a late lunch. Big mistake. We were one of only two tables with customers. Our waiter was polite but pushy and we ordered after having only had a couple minutes to see the menu. Then, surprise our meal was out to us within about 5 minutes which isn’t exactly a good sign in a sit down restaurant. The food came out topped with a heaping mound of very black guacamole. After scraping that off my nachos supreme I tried to dig a chip from massive pile of re solidified cheese to find it was so grainy I thought the cheese must have separated. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case the gritty feeling was salt, so much I couldn’t taste anything else. I dug down to the bottom to find it was this way through out. I tried to pick a few bites from the salty mess but it was no use. The bean burrito and rice a member of our group ordered was an unheated, store bought flour tortilla with a smear of something like bean paste that had no flavor and the rice was indescribable. The other item to our table was the tostada chili verde. It too was covered with a mountain of very black guacamole. Once scraped off there was probably 1/2 cup of sauce on a very crispy tortilla. It was lack luster but the half a head of iceberg lettuce seemed fresh. We each took one or two bites before deciding we were better off hungry. Our wait staff walked by 5 or 10 minutes later and asked if we would like go boxes for our nearly full plates, something made me think they are used to seeing people “finished” long before the eat the food on their plates. We did load the mass up in a couple boxes hoping to recomp something of the $50 dollars we had just waisted by giving it to the chickens at home then we stopped by McDonalds.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars was the restroom wasn’t very clean.

Walked in, about 3/4 of tables were cluttered with dirty dishes. Didn’t make for a pleasant eating experience. Chicken burrito, tortilla was paper thin and Chicken inside was more like canned chicken, watery on the bottom. Did not enjoy our eating experience.

Our server was great, the restaurant was clean, but the food was terrible. My chicken was dry, rice and beans were undercooked, and the cheese on my beans was scabby and disgusting. Disappointed.
