This should be the #1 Mexican restaurant in Springfield! We stopped by on a whim. The food is excellent! I would say it’s definitely well above what you expect from a restaurant with these prices. I had the shrimp/scallop plate and it was cooked to perfection! The shrimp queso my sister had was “the best I’ve ever had”, according to her. The jumbo 40 ounce margarita is only $10.99 and there is no short of flavor or tequila! The staff was amazing and the decor is perfect! We will definitely be making this a regular stop.

ordered speedy vaquero for lunch. The first time I called I was hung up on, when I got there I had to wait forever on my food when they said it would be done in 7 minutes. When they brought my food out I had an item missing, they laughed and brought item to me. When I got home I noticed nothing was correct with my order. And I had a whole meal missing. Went back to get the meal and asked for the manager and the host just looked at me. They didn’t correct anything that was wrong with my order, and made me pay AGAIN for the missing meal. Also when they brought me the second order there was more food missing and I had to ask again. The whole time the hosts were laughing about the situation and didn’t seem to care. Very rude and horrible customer service

I am not sure if it is because I have enjoyed many authentic Mexican meals, but I was completely let down by this establishment. We took our mother here for an early Mother’s Day dinner on Friday the 12th. We were a table of 5, all adults. 1st of all, It took a long time for our server to address our table. When I inquired about an adult beverage that was on the menu, I was told that he had no clue about the drinks and that he did not make the drinks and there was bar tender until 5 pm. It was about 4 pm, by this time. I just said forget it, and I ordered the pork carnita dinner. I have had authentic pork carnitas, and I was so looking forward to having this dinner. After eating 2 baskets of chips and drinking all my water. Finally our food arrived. My dish was served very hot. However, my pork looked like it had been dehydrated. I tasted it, and it was SO DRY and so hard. No flavor at all. I then tasted my cheese enchilada, and it was very cheesy, but the enchilada sauce was flavorless.
