I was very surprised when I walked in. Looked very plain from the outside, but inside it looks like a fancy bar! It was so very early in the day and it was slow, our waitress was extremely courteous and sweet. Checked on us consistently without being overbearing. She would pick up our plates as soon as we finished and grabbed any trash. Always made sure we were taken care of. You can watch them make your food in the open kitchen design, and they did have a wide variety of beers and bottles. The taco Tuesday special was $1 tacos (pastor/buche/descada), tried the pastor…. very juicy and full of flavor! Also ordered the papa asada de bistek, also rather amazing!

Been here a few times. It’s a small place with big servings. Tacos are the only entree on the menu. The portions are HUGE for the price. An order of tacos varies from $7-$10 and it’s plenty of food. We went back on Tacos Tuesday when certain tacos are $1 each. I figured the tacos would be a lot smaller but they were the same size. They can improve on their sides. I ordered a baked potato and it was burnt and dry and the only complaint I have. They also sell alcoholic beverages.

I really don’t enjoy downgrading a five star review but when it is warranted, I feel I must. This was our new local eatery close to home but after our visit yesterday, I doubt we’ll be back. Something has changed. I’ve seen it many times before. When things get tight in the economy and business is brisk, portions get smaller, the quality of the ingredients change, and then it’s “we’re out of this and that”. I’ve had better carnitas from a food truck. From the moment we walked in my instinct was to turn around and walk out. The place smelled bad. The music was too loud. The pico de gallo was just a bunch of veggies cut up in the plastic cup. There was something orange in the ice. Gone was the friendly greeting and thanks for coming from the cooks like in the past. All new servers. Problems getting the order right. I’m done. Note to the owner: Check your business before you go belly up.

Today was my second time getting food here. This time, it was drive-thru. The young lady was patient with me ( I speak very little Spanish), and she was still able to understand me and put together a keto friendly meal. I will be eating my leftovers as breakfast.

The tripita tacos are very good. The service was friendly but the live music was to much, couldn’t even order with out screaming and couldn’t talk to my friend over so much noise. If i visit again it won’t be after 5 to avoid such experience again.
