The one word that comes to mind for me to describe this place is “sensational.” The warm welcoming atmosphere and the quality of food is unmatched!! Don’t forget to pair your food with a delicious margarita! Also the prices are very fair!

They apparently can’t even make basic things like tacos according to their own menu. It’s not very hard to simply put onions and cilantro on your tacos if your menu says they’re supposed to have them. And $18.50 for three tacos I paid $6 for just three years ago? That might be ok if they were made right and were decently sized.

The best spot for Taco Tuesday in New Orleans. They have $2 tacos and $4 small margaritas on Tuesdays. On Tuesday’s there is usually a lot of Tulane students and a line but it moves pretty fast. The food is delicious and there is plenty of seating ( they also have a balcony). I ordered 3 chicken tacos and my friend got a steak quesadilla with margaritas of course. We definitely enjoyed. I would highly recommend checking El Taco Loco out.

Style of Felipe’s where you can add what you like, but run by actual Mexicans with real spice in their salsa. Beautiful balcony. Friendly staff. Fast service. We enjoyed it!

The person who made my burrito rolled it so when I unwrapped it a little at a time it just fell apart. He gave me the top part of the beans that had a crust on them. Nothing had been stuired..The sauces wasn’t covered and every one I attempted to get made bubbles…so it was bad. They have a good location at the old oh’henrys but the food has got worse from their last location. Just walking in you can see the health violations

The Mexican bartender who worked on August 22 at 7pm is very rude and nasty to customers. I was confused about where the pickup line was and asked him and he snapped at me and rolled his eyes. After I waited for several minutes to be acknowledged and given my food, I went back to him and told him he’s very rude. He replied in another rude snarky comment “thank you for that advice”. He’s very nasty to customers and you need to train him to be respectful to people. I will never go back there again after the way he treated me. He should be fired.

This is a solid taco joint. It isn’t super fast service but also is not bad service. You will wait a few minutes but they will serve you large portions and it is very affordable. Large selection of meats (no chichiron or lengua) but birria cabeza barbacoa carnitas asada and ground beef along with chicken are all very good several choices for beans. All sauces are handmade. I have dined here many times as it is only a few blocks from my house. I have never had a bad food experience here. The margaritas are super strong so don’t expect to have a couple and a drive or ride a bike anywhere soon after. It is located right on the street car line at the corner of Oak and Carrolton . I have only the one picture sitting outside on the front patio, I was always too busy eating to take pictures and nobody wants to see a picture of empty plates.

I’m not big on Mexican food but I enjoyed this place. Their al pastor and queso are top notch. The place is always clean and hasn’t been busy when I have come through.

Food sits out all day with no cover. Beans were crusty. Pork dry at best. Service rude. At least the young guy that works there is extremely rude and failed to accommodate even simple things like an extra cup. Last time he rang up my order before the lady even finished then charged me extra for guacamole. I tipped 5 dollars had to go to car to get change for his mistake. The time before he almost traumatized a dog that walked in. I think your best bet is to just go to the next corner and get fresh food. I will not go here again. It may be convenient but I can make better at home.
