The restaurant is simple yet fairly clean. The low rating is based on value and flavor. I got a Carne Asada burrito -$9.50. (it arrived luke warm). The burrito was mainly refined pinto beans (good flavor) and spanish rice (not good), there was a little meat, but it was dry and had no flavor. I also got a Carne Asada taco-$3, it too was luke warm. The meat had no flavor and dry. The salsa was very watered down & bland, it wasn’t like any salsa I ever seen or tasted. The Nachos ($9) were a good size, it had a good amount of Carne Asada and other ingredients, the chips were bot traditional, has a corn meal flavor. It was good, but we had better. The prices are high for a express restaurant (like Chipotle or Taco Bell) I cant say this food is authentic. Its not a good sit down restaurant. The price isn’t worth the value and flavor or lack there of. Is why we wouldn’t return.

Incredibly reasonable prices for 2 tacos, rice, and refried beans with all the fixings!! I’ve not gotten anything from El Taco Riendo that I haven’t enjoyed. No fancy decorating but who cares?? I’m all about the quality of the food. Superb.

Second time eating here. I do agree sometimes the taste or ingredients are hit or miss but for the most part the food is tasty. My friend had the giant burrito and I had the Al pastor tacos with an elote. The pastor and Elote was pretty good. The rice could’ve been better. It didn’t seem like it had much seasoning. I did notice that this place gets a lot of orders going out so service can be spotty.

2 of the 5 times I’ve been there, they’ve forgotten items in my takeout order. Today, they forgot shells and salsa for my platillo combo, and they gave me a horchata from their fridge that had been there long enough for the milk to separate from the rice/spices. The food is actually pretty good but I won’t be returning.
