El Taco Tote doesn’t inspire with either its outward appearance or its name. However, the food is pretty good. The first thing you’ll notice is the dim lighting and the condiment bar. The condiment bar offers a wide variety of choices, five salas (the dark red is flavorful and smokey), cabbage, lettuce, radishes, cucumber, red pickles onions, cold roasted jalapeno peppers with grilled onions, and more. The flour tortillas are thin and good. There’s a good choice of meats including shrimp. The shrimp and pork were very nicely spiced. Rice (Mexican, tomato) and refried beans were good. The iced tea is brewed and sufficiently strong. The cups are on the small size. You order at the cash register, take your numbered flag to your table, food is brought to you. My recommendation is to get a pork taco and load it up with cabbage and the dark red salsa – delicious. The shrimp is also especially good. They also offer fish tacos. Work through the cookie cutter look of the place and enjoy some good food.

Horible customer service the ladies who work there were very rude! Said “If you dont like our service leave” would even provide us with forks, ridiculous! Place is empty and couldnt even gather tables for a party of 15. Not a family friendly location. Rude employees!

Went to El Taco Tote for the first time today and can’t say enough positive things about the experience. The order staff was very helpful to we first-timers, the food was made to order and delicious, and the portions were ample.. Corn tortillas were warm and chewy, charro beans were flavorful and truly among the best I’ve ever had, the baked potato was perfectly baked and served with a very large dollop of butter, the chips and salsa were yummy, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. We will definitely be stopping in there again — next time, we plan to get a takeout family meal after one of our frequent trips to Sam’s Club across the parking lot.

Plenty of seating. Huge selection of salsas. Tortillas were homemade. I loved that I could order a baked potato with my tacos lol

Amazing tortillas and the quesadillas were to die for. The Sirloin was by far the best meat they have. It was incredibly tender and seasoned perfectly.

Sirloin tacos were really good. I love the variety of salsas they have. The red salsa was super spicy and good.

My family member has a gluten allergy and before ordering was asking if they had a nutritional or gluten free menu, or if they could even speak to the options. The woman behind the counter was rude, condescending, and nasty to us. So much so that they chose to eat elsewhere. Very very disappointing and I needed.

Pricey but delicious. I recommend trying all the salsas. I love the pastor. Just don’t go before close because meats won’t be fresh.
