I really like going to El Taco Veloz in Buford, Georgia. They serve a really tasty El Pastor Especial Burrito, which has all the fixins. The prices are more reasonable than other Mexican restaurants in the area and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. I also love the fresh drinks that they offer. The Jamaica (sorrel aka hibiscus) drink is my favorite. If you are looking for a very good burrito with a tasty, cold refreshing drink on the side, El taco Veloz is the place to go!

The food lost quality. A year ago the portions were bigger. The tortas are missing half of the ingredients. No cream, no refried beans, less meat and a bunch of lettuce. They change stuff every week and the price does not compensate for what you are getting. It used to be my favorite restaurant but not anymore. ☹️

I’m giving a one star for poor customer service and food quality… Im highly disappointed at this location. The nachos had no cheese on it and when I complained lady wanted to charge me 4.60 for cheese dip… when she never asked me what kind of cheese I wanted on my nachos to begin with, I wasn’t even aware that I had that option. The agua de mango was watered down had no flavor as well as the horchata. I ended up gettin a coke from the fountain. I did try their barbacoa taco it was a 3 out of 5 ,probably would go back just for that taco but it’s really not worth it. Definitely, not happy with their service or food

This location is waaaay better than the beaver ruin and Buford hwy (Doraville) location in how the food tastes, cleanliness and size. The only bad thing I can say and it’s not even really a bad thing but they didn’t have the salsa bar where you can get your own salsa. I like a lot of salsa with my food so I would’ve preferred to be able to get the amount I would’ve liked but the girl who was working the register with glasses was so sweet she gave me the number of salsa I asked for where at the other locations I listed they would make me pay for extra salsa. Highly recommend this location !!! On a plus side there was no attitude given by the workers which is something the Doraville location needs to work on

The food quality was poor and their health rating is only 85/100 which says a lot. I also got an allergic reaction due to the meat in my tacos not being fresh. I will not be back to this location period. Overall, I had a really gross experience.

Seriously Kitchen from Taco Veloz at Buford……everytime I order Burritos with EXTRA Carne asada, I get charged for it and for some messed up reason, all of my burritos had NO meat at all!!!….infuriating unbelievable!!!! Need my money back!!

I just randomly stopped in to get lunch because I wasn’t familiar with the area and didn’t know what else was near so decided to settle for tacos. My expectations were very low when I walked in. Instead of ordering tacos I decided to get the nachos. When I took the first bite and tasted the flavor… I couldn’t believe it! Never in my life have I tasted nachos that delicious… Not even in Mexico itself. The next time I went I decided to get tacos l, same experience… Amazing! I asked them to show me the person that cooked it. This place is definitely an experience.

First time visiting this one and they were amazing! Ladies made sure they got my orders correct on each burrito (Ordered five) and super friendly. It took about 20mins to get our food but they were all correct and thats what matters to me. It was all decorated inside for Halloween too and once my children and I sat down, one lady came and gave my kids a Happy Halloween goody bag. Another lady was constantly after every guest left, cleaned the tables. Keep up the great job! We will definitely be back again even if it’s a 30min drive from home.
