Dine is was awful. They gave me the food first then the drinks and everytime I needed something or napkin,drinks,utensils I had to get up and get it then they charge me for extra sauce and the lady at register was talking to other co-workers while charging me and not focusing on me or the other customers. The gossip must of been good. Also before I was finished they were cleaning my table and asking me if I was finished and wiping down area next to me with the smell of cleaning solution. Like if we were not sitting there.

This was like an episode of Seinfeld. Placed a to-go order for a $27 Lomo Saltado. When my order was ready I asked for some ketchup. The older man very firmly stated that “ketchup is for dine-in only, not for take-out”. Couldn’t believe what I just heard so I asked one more time, and he doubled down on me in a louder tone, “ketchup is for dine-in only, not for take-out!”. Enjoy your ketchup Tambo Grill, I’m eating somewhere else.

I’ll start off by saying I had the best white beans in my life at this restaurant, which made the visit worthwhile. They also made an absolutely amazing spicy green ahi sauce that you could tell was handmade from scratch. I was a bit disappointed though with the rotisserie chicken, as I ordered the half chicken meal which was priced at $12. I don’t mind spending extra money at lunch if the food is amazing but for the price, It didn’t meet my expectations as the white meat was a bit dry and the seasoning was too salty. With that said, they do have an extremely wide selection of food items and I would consider trying something else on the menu as I’m a huge fan of Peruvian food. Also, for the counter serve restaurant I was a bit disappointed that upon paying with a credit card it gives you the option to leave a tip. I would’ve expected they would’ve at least carried my food to my table when it was ordered but instead they called my name and had me come pick it up. What did I tip 20% for? Next time I will not leave a tip
