A great, old school family Mexican restaurant. I love that it’s been in the same place since the middle of the last century and they’re serving up recipes that have been around since they opened. The amazing service help make our visit marvelous . When we received our meals we realized we could of ordered and shared servings were plentiful. Felt like I was home being feed by my mom and aunt’s the taste was amazing hands down best experience and taste I’ve had in months .

The Mexican food served here is among the very best there is in Ventura County. The staff is understaffed. However, they have much to be desired with their attitudes and service. For the most part, the hostesses, waitresses, and servers never have a smile on their face and are not friendly or welcoming. Also, like most everything else since Covid, their prices are over the top high and doubled to tripled just since the last 3 years.

Clean enough, no pretense restaurant that serves giant portions and giant margaritas. Chips were nice, salsa was nothing special with no heat, giant burrito with ground beef was bland and flavorless. I think their regular crowd is probably older locals looking to get tipsy.
