Well this was a disappointing experience to say the least. We went here because it had great reviews and was close to our hotel. We first walked in and it took about 10 minutes to get seated with no one in line in front of us and an empty restaurant. Once we finally got seated it took another 10 minutes for our order to be taken. Again still an almost empty restaurant. After another 25 minutes we finally got our food, and only one of the three meals ordered was delivered correctly. So overall it took about 45 minutes from start to finish and the food was utterly disappointing. The meat was flavorless and they charged us for food we didn’t expect to get charged for. You may enjoy this but for me this was a disappointing experience

Service was good. Food was excellent! Was one server the at lunchtime and she was awesome! She was working the room with speed, style and everyone looked pleased. Was passing through town with work. Will definitely stop here again when we come back through.

Great selection for everyone. I don’t like spicy or Mexican food, so I ordered a burger. It was great! Kids were able to find and enjoy what they wanted. There is a bar next door if you’d like a drink.

Long wait to be seated and the place was far from busy. The waiter who finally seated us asked if my service dog bit people. Are you kidding me? My service dog is extremely well trained and behaves perfectly in public. He is also registeted and legitimate. No one should ever be treated this way! Service dogs are trained to service their disabled owner. The public needs to understand this and accept our service dogs. Period! Shame on this waiter for his attitude and for asking such a stupid question.

I’ve lived on Montana for 5 months, ate at one Mexican restaurant place in Kalispell, it was wonderful. Then hearing about El Tenampa , my baby dad and I are from the South. Went to try it, actually got it to go. So amazed. Loved it, 20 minute drive home and it was STILL HOT. Actually on the way to get sum more Mexican food.

Food was a five star rating- a gem in Shelby and welcome change from family meals of pizza and burgers. The carne asada was a favorite. Our son is a vegetarian and he loved the veg burrito- sometimes it is hard to satisfy him and this was a winner. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.

I gave them 5 stars because ever since I moved from Texas I hadn’t been able to find any Mexican restaurant that could make enchiladas and refried beans like the ones I had in Texas until El Tenampa!… they even served it to me on a searing hot plate! I will be going back… maybe tonight… The enchiladas tasted just like I remembered right down to the sauce on top! The refried beans were nice and creamy and oh, lets not forget about that red rice!!! And while waiting for your food you get to indulge in homemade tortilla chips and salsa, oh so yummy!!!It only took 30 years to find one and it just happened to come to the town that I live in!
