We went to dinner at El Tenampa Mexican Grill. The food was excellent. Our server Jesus made our guacamole at the table, and it was fabulous. Plus, Jesus was an awesome waiter. We had so much food that we had to bring a lot home. The restaurant is decorated really cute and it’s also clean. We will absolutely come back again.

$$$ My wife and I thought we would give this place a try and wow am glad we did……awesome food , service and atmosphere…… just a little bit of Mexico everything was just awesome the fresh guacamole dip made at the table and a couple beers it was all fabulous I had the pork carnites and my wife had the two item taco and escalates. – sorry about the spelling…but everything was fantastic this will be one of our favorite places……….and it wasn’t too expensive….please please try this place………..

A huge disappointment. Here’s a picture of my chicken fajita quesadilla… as you’ll notice the cheese is not even melted. Which makes sense as it wasn’t warm. If it was actually melted cheese I’d recommend changing the name of the dish to half cheese quesadilla and half dry chicken fajita. That would be due to the separation of ingredients within the tortilla. All in all grossly dissatisfied and confident I’ll never be ordering again.

I ordered a combo plate and choice was chicken, ground beef, pork, or shredded beef. There was no price next to shredded beef that they would charge extra for. They charged for this. We also asked for hot sauce and they charged extra for this also. Their hot sauce they serve with chips is so water down that there’s hardly any flavor. I am not sure if I will go back, their food has changed since being there three months ago.

Visited El Tenampa early this evening for my birthday dinner. Our service was absolutely horrible!! Our waitress acted like we were a complete burden the whole entire time we were there and it was 4:30 on a Tuesday. I ordered fajitas and didn’t get tortillas until my whole family was done eating with no apology!! If I’m going to go to a restaurant and pay over $100 for a meal for 5 of us, 2 children included in that price I would expect much better service and to not feel like I was ruining the waitresses day! Super disappointing, we won’t be back. If I could give zero stars for the service I would.

My significant other noticed something on the menu that he thought I would like. We ordered food, and when it was brought out, ordered dessert. He got his flan, and I got chimi cheesecake. It sounded good, and it was very pretty. I was so excited to try it, but oh NO!!

Once we finally got our food it was all very good. We did notice quite an increase in all the prices compared to the last time we visited. The service was a little slow, I think because they just didn’t have enough workers and it was fairly busy. We enjoyed the parillada fajita plate for 2, very tasty!
