What a cool place! Perfect spot for a day date with a girlfriend, family dinner or weekend dinner with a partner. Chips, cheese and salsa were quickly brought to the table and were tasty! The food was also tasty. I ordered chicken fajitas. There was more onion on the plate than anything else combined, but it was all tasty! I left full and happy!

We have had such an amazing experience here. The food is soooo good, it tastes like more natural fresh ingredients, the salsa and queso seem to be freshly made. The staff are Excellent always greets when you come in and gives a farewell when u leave. And u don’t have to wait long for anything ordered

The more Tex Mex I eat, the easier it is to differentiate in quality. El Tepeyac has been recommended to me numerous times by friends from the Blanchard area. I happen to be on my way to Duncan from Norman on highway 9 and I hadn’t eaten. I glimpsed the well lit restaurant, and immediately turned in. It has a gorgeous display out front dedicated to la Virgen de Guadalupe, and the more beautiful artwork and festive decorations inside. I was pleased to note that they offered a michelada on the menu, which I enjoy very much. Then I ordered a chile relleno stuffed with spiced ground beef and covered in a green tomatillo sauce. It came with the obligatory Spanish rice and refried beans. Don’t get me wrong, I love Spanish fries and refried beans but they are not all created equal. These refritos tasted fresh, and the rice was savory. But the star of the show was definitely the relleno. It had been sliced in such a way that the cumbersome top of the pepper had been removed and while the pepper had clearly been seared well, the delicious beef spiced to perfection that it was filled with was spot-on. I normally eat about half my food at a restaurant, and then take the rest home for another meal. I couldn’t stop eating the relleno, and I ate about half the rice and the beans as well. I was stuffed with delicious Tex-Mex as I walked to my car and saw the sun just below the horizon. The remainder of the drive home was very pleasant, and I look forward to taking my husband to El Tepeyac.

It was a nice place. Ambiance was Cafe style. Foods: the chips were decent. Dinner was very Mediocre but served hot. Salsa was decent. It depends on what day you go but traffic in the restaurant is not so good.

We are so excited to find an authentic Mexican restaurant. The food was excellent and wait staff were very attentive. It had a fun atmosphere, but not noisy. Great experience.

I have been here multiple times before, honestly it had been GREAT!! But today it was awful when we spoke up about it they were upset and acted like we still have to pay! No one was trying not to pay, because I have been there multiple times I thought they should know.. My Shrimp Cocktail was ketchup ONLY, that’s not how you are supposed to make it! But I respectfully paid my bill gave a $10 tip and left.. Telling myself that’s the last time I go there..

My wife was looking for red sauce enchiladas since we moved to Oklahoma, this place has them and they are delicious! Everything was so good, I had the flautas and the beef inside had great taste. If you are used to California Mexican food, this is the place for you! The Ters leches cake is a must as well.

Never coming here again. We shared a meal, and was not told at the counter that they would charge an extra 5.99 for the “complimentary” chips and salsa since I technically shared and didn’t get a meal. When we shared our frustration we were simply told we didn’t read the menu well enough, and was pretty much told it was our fault. Bad customer service, TERRIBLE communication, but decent food.
