Lunch with my friend and colleague. We both ordered the grilled fish tacos. Food was delicious! Love their chips and salsa. It’s an old school feel inside, but great service. No dinner service as they close at 4 pm.

I ordered a chorizo and egg burrito with beans, with a small coke. There were no beans in the burrito. $17 and some change and it was all tortilla! I don’t recommend ordering this!

Chile verde platter was perfect. The pork meat was very tender. My wife had the chilaquiles con salsa verde and she loved them.

Pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem of a restaurant. Food was good, reasonably priced and generous portions. Had the Chile Verde omelette (breakfast served all day). Menu also shows menudo every day, not too many places do that! Left feeling full and satisfied.

Deliciousness….. This is a place that is on it. Once I walked in I was greeted with a smile and they took over. Drink, Menu, Salad, Chips and Salsa and the plate of Tasty Food. The Vibe was awesome with Music playing and great service. Everything was fresh with the food hot and tasting excellent. Definitely a Lunch and early Dinner or late Lunch Place to eat good food. The other plates from other customers looked just as Delicious as mine.

Finally great authentic Mexican food here in San Bernandino. The original restaurant located in Boyle Heights. They are known for having huge burritos. We ordered menudo, pata on the side (extra charge but worth it), and chilaquiles con huevo (a bit spicy). Overall the food was delicious and will definitely be coming back once in town again.

This is a real traditional place as a Mexican myself I hardly like any Mexican restaurants but this one is by far the best! A must! They are also super friendly and make you feel at home !

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for 5+ years now and I can’t say enough nice things about it. The staff is kind and takes care of every customer that walks through the door. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic. The owner is amazing. He always talked to my father when we visited, and they exchanged stories about where they were from. The absolute best service all around. I highly recommend El Tepeyac!

We had a male server, very poor service… ordered Menudo and caldo de rez and he said he would come back with the rice it comes with. He never did he stood there cashing people out and counting his tips. We tried to get his attention never could. We got another servers attention and asked for the rice it came with so she went n told the cook. They didn’t even have it ready and good thing bc it would have been cold bc so much time had passed. When they put it out he finally brought it and asked if we wanted a refill but I was already done eating. He never asked if we needed anything else. He left the bill it was over $42 for the Menudo, caldo, 1 agua and a water and 1 carnitas taco and then they charge 4% for using the card… For our food we waited over 30 mins and it wasn’t even busy… not even half full in there Won’t be back

Salsa is amazing and taquitos were delicious. Horchata could have definitely been made better, not enough sweetness or cinnamon.
