Fast seating; drink orders taken promptly. Cannot complain about the food, not spectacular, but fresh and well prepared. (Note: sanitation rating was 90 at the time of this writing.) Prices were slightly below comparable restaurants like this.

Wow… very impressed. Great service…. no wait to be sat, chips and salsa immediately, drinks within 5 minutes. They even brought out the kids’ meals out as soon as they were ready… so it was very helpful to keep the kids happy and not cranky. Found it kind of odd though that they did the SAME thing for our entrees… and they all came out at different times- as they were ready.

Took my wife and son to this Mexican Restaurant. Excellent service. Don’t eat a lot of Mexican food, but this was by far the best I have ever had. My wife usually get heart burn easily, surprisingly this place did not. amazing flavor and fresh food.

Moving from Jacksonville, we had to leave Mi Cabanas. So we had to find a new Mexican restaurant here in New Bern. Tried Arturo’s, very disappointed. Tried El Cerro’s both New Bern and Havelock, they’re ok. We were about to give up but stumble upon El Tequila. We decided to give El Tequila a chance and were very pleased. We will definitely be a regular.

I came here once and i waited almost an hour to receive my food and when I finally go it, it wasn’t even what I ordered after that I had to wait again for my food but it was cold it wasn’t worth the wait don’t recommend it here.
