We believed that our family recipes were so good that other people would enjoy them as much as we did. We strive to make every dining experience great and enjoyable. As soon as I walked in I was halfway greeted. When the actual server came he was very friendly and welcoming. Meeting him was the only enjoyable part of the experience. The food wasn’t as I was expecting, on the sign it says “authentic” not even close. And my drink didn’t have any alcohol in it. In all I am very disappointed.

El Tequila is one of my most favorite places to eat- authentic Mexican food. It’s about 45 minutes from the cities, would I drive there to just eat there? Probably not, but if I happened to be in the area, I would definitely make my way there, even for take out.

Over priced expensive absolutely low quality gross food. Our stomachs don’t feel well after eating. The shredded chicken had an almost 2″ long bone in it, over deep fried food, small portions, water tasted like rust. Took forever to even get water and they weren’t busy. Four basic meals with no drinks created a $60 bill, they also charged a $3 admin fee on top of it. When I questioned it, they appeared caught off guard. That’s fine, the admin fee came off their tip. We will never go here again, even if it’s free. Stay away.
