Miss Me
In town for the week. It’s taco Tuesday and so I wanted Mexican food. Did a Google search and this restaurant had 4.7 stars so I said Honey we are going here. We got there and we were the only ones in the restaurant except the workers. A family had just lef however the weather right now is indecisive…. storms and tornado alerts. Anyway…we ordered the guac (delicious and a must have). We ordered cheese dip too. And well chips and salsa are free. I ordered a margarita but sent it back and had it removed from bill as pre-made margaritas are not my favorite……way to much sour. Yuck. But me and my honey did have 3 shots of tequila and he had Modelo to drink. Our meals were the El Pastor tacos and the waiter offered a spicy sauce to top them with and they were served with beans and rice. Our other meal was the Cheese steak burritos. I’m not a fan of steak at a Mexican restaurant but I figured “why not..give it a try” and it was served with rice and beans as well. The employees were attentive and friendly. Had a good time. We stopped by for lunch on our way through Des Moines and had a great experience! We had tacos and shrimp, both of which were very flavorful and tasty. The service was outstanding as well. We will definitely come back next time we drive though Des Moines!
