+JMJ…Friday 20 January 2023. First visit. Love it so far. Nice greeting from cashier/hostess, the music is so wonderful. I don’t dance much, but their Pandora selections set the mood for eating delicious Mexican cuisine while tapping my foot to delightful South of the Border music!! Chips and salsa always a great meal starter. The red salsa is spicy. The chopped cabbage mixture was actually a nice addition atop the beans. Yummy! My meal has been served and this order of HUGH shrimp with onions and bell peppers and sides of rice and beans look mouth watering DELICIOUS. Let me get busy! Yes!! A very tasty meal. More than ample servings. Overall, very pleased with this first visit. Fantastic atmosphere and musically entertaining. Oh! Must add that I ordered the Fried Ice Cream! It was beyond DELICIOUS!! The serving of vanilla ice cream topped with some type of crunchy, sweet cereal, drizzled with chocolate and carmel syrup and two dollops of whipped cream and light dusting of sprinkles was I-can’t-stop-eating scrumptious!! The serving is enough for 3 to 4 people (as an after dinner dessert), but I ate half! Wonderful finish to my appetite sating meal! Highly recommend locals and travelers to stop in for a meal. And, must add a correction. A photo I posted incorrectly places the restaurant in Camp Verde. Thankfully, the location is correctly identified on Google Maps. Blessings!

Less than decent experience. Absolutely horrible waitress. Tall girl, long black hair, black El Toreo shirt. I asked a question about my order and she was IMMEDIATELY confrontational. As a manager, this is unacceptable customer service. I hope management can resolve this for the sake of their clientele. Food was not exceptional but the service was worse. Another Kitchen Nightmare episode waiting to happen….

The worst service we’ve ever had. The waitress who has multi colored hair was extremely rude and short with use. We have been going there for many years but won’t be back until the service is better. Update, El torero has removed the issue there and we’re back enjoying the food

ordered chicken taquitos,first order was pink chicken,took back,cooked again,still pink,finally just ordered beans,as you all know,chicken is NEVER TO BE SERVED PINK,and different approached me and said’ if its hot it will be pink’!!! Please,we are educated people and know this to not be accurate.Wont EVER go in again,Waitress was rude,aggressive and just plain not too smart…if I could give 0 stars,I would!!!

The food was awesome.. the place was extremely clean. Very nice service.. The menu had a huge variety on it. Very easy to read. They even serve ( BREAKFAST) To me it was very authentic. There was cabbage served with the hot sauce and chips. Ive never seen that before. Sorry I had a couple bites out of my plate. This was steak enchiladas. I took a lady out on her first date there.. THEY let me set the flowers early. While I waited outside. I will return. There was many Mexican restaurants listed. But as far as I’m concerned.? I went to the best one of them all. Thank you

I ordered the carne asada fries…. YUM! My friend had the El Toro — taco & enchilada with rice & beans. She said it was excellent! Her only complaint was the salsa wasn’t hot enough…lol
