I was truly surprised at my dining experience at El Toro. They have a total new “face lift”. I hadn’t been there in about 4-5 years. The atmosphere was so spacious, comfortable and the ambience made it most enjoyable. I’ve always enjoyed the food there, but the food there now is even more delicious. The portions are greater and served with a welcoming sense of care and consideration. The menu has expanded to satisfy every expectation of most pallets and eating choices. And the drinks are second to none. The Margaritas are a must try! El Toro will definitely be a regular dining out selection for me.

The newly renovated interior is great! I have likes and dislikes about the new floorplan (compared to the old), but overall, I would say that it’s an improvement. Service was quick, effective, efficient, friendly, polite and welcoming. The food was great, as always, but the refried beans were dry as could be and felt like I was trying to eat a sponge. They tasted fine, though and I know that this is not usually the norm.

Have been to the El Toro in Bellbrook many times without issue. A couple weeks ago I was there with my daughter, her husband and their two kids. We were there on a Wednesday where they advertise that kids eat free with drink order. When the bill came the kid’s meals were not free. When I spoke with the manager he apologized and gave my daughter a gift card to cover the meals we had paid for already because the waiter would not honor the free meal deal. Today I went there for lunch with my grandkids. Ended up with the same waiter. He pointed out the free kid’s meal deals after we had ordered drinks. When it was time to pay he took my card and said I will ring you up and be back (never saw the check until he came back with the card. On the bill again we’re the kids meal. I think the waiter figured I would not remember or that I was stupid. I opted not to argue about it and have decided NEVER TO GO THERE AGAIN. They may have gotten my money for kid’s meal that were supposedly free but I will not spend another dime there!

Ate outside at the Bellbrook El Toro tonight (5/23/2023). The servers were really friendly and attentive, the food was good and brought out quickly, but the whole reason I’ve been going to El Toro’s for what seems like the last 15 or 20 years now has been the Cadillac margaritas. I thought they were the best margaritas I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried quite a few.

Great food, good service as always. We were here many times when we lived here. Ten years has passed and El Toro still here and even has many more branches! One dish we always love is the Chili Relleno. Poco Pollo was awesome, perfectly cook chicken and we’ll seasoned ground beef topping. We love all the dishes here.
