Owners are super nice and their food is absolutely amazing!! We ate here twice during our stay because the birria was so good. We had the quesadilla and ramen one day, and a torta and quesatacos (pictured) the other. All of it was outstanding including the drinks we had, the Jamaica and Horchata refrescos. Would definitely eat again and again on our next stay in Portland. Muy Rico!!

This was my first experience with this amazing place. I told them I’d never had this style had this style of tacos, and they gave me a free loaded up taco for free to give it a try and all they wanted, was for me to like it. I did lol And they won a regular for sure! The consome is amazing, and they give you a really generous portion of it! The tacos are fresh, and absolutely everything you’d hope to find in a street taco! Everything we got, was good. And the price is very reasonable for how much you’re getting! Seriously, if you’re in the area and are on the prowl for a good, hearty meal, look no farther! Grab a couple tacos and a sangria, and you won’t regret it! I’m a local and will for sure be coming back!

The Birria at this place is so flipping good. We’ve tried quesatacos all over this town and let me tell you we always come back to this place (three times this week!) Get a side of consome and red sauce to dip the tacos in, perfection. Hits the spot, every, single, time. The family that runs El Toro is always kind and quick too….Really though, I’d go even if this wasn’t the case the Birria is that good.
