Ordered the Fajitas El Pueblo expecting it to come out sizzling. Unfortunately it was not sizzling and not very warm. The shrimp was rubbery but the flavors of the fajita overall was good. Cheese sauce and strawberry margaritas were delicious but the chips were cold and very thick. Sad to say first and last time eating here

Good food but gave a weird looking flan. Must have been a couple of days old.

Had high hopes, I am only passing through town. If the food was hot and more flavor it would been great. Presentation was excellent service was great, but a cold chicken Chimney isn’t that great, rice and beans were cold. I ate at 5:30pm on a Friday night I expected hot food.

It was ok, the salsa and chips were good but I ordered a shredded beef burrito and it tasted like chicken. And the “refried beans” were very weird tasting and we couldn’t bring ourselves to eat them. Even though my burrito tasted like chicken rather then beef it was good

Wasn’t really expecting to find good Mexican food in Grand Island, Nebraska, so El Toro was a surprise. It’s conveniently located and in a nice building. The chips were served warm and are thick, both a win to me. The salsa had good favor; more on the mild side of the spectrum. I ordered a burrito, and it was tasty. I’m uncertain about how I felt about the cheese sauce it was smothered in, but the burrito certainly didn’t lack for size. It was packed nicely with chicken, rice and beans. I was slightly disappointed it didn’t come with rice or beans on the side though. Overall, a good experience and I’d visit again if I find myself in Grand Island.

We normally go to the lincoln locations and always have a great experience. Service was good this time but the food was EXTREAMLY DIFFERENT. My husband asked specifically before he ordered if the enchallas Blanco had vegetables and the server said no. The meat was loaded with pepers and my husband picked them out of one but wouldn’t eat the rest.

Clean, spacious restaurant with a full bar and plenty of menu items. The bar is a bit small…only a half dozen seats or so but it offers a variety of tequilas and four or five Mexican draught beers. The food is excellent but a bit pricier than it’s cousin across the way, CarlosO’Kellys. The house salsa is weak and watery…ask for the spicier picante salsa it has a nice flavor and color. The chips are thick and tasty. Try the Mad Bull tequila…the bottle alone is worth a look

If you are a foodie, don’t miss this place. The food was SO good. I ordered takeout while passing through town. The carnitas were browned and crispy on top then so tender they fell apart on my fork. Pickeld onions, jalapeno, avacado, and light, fresh pinto beans. Perfection. (Ignore the uninsteresting photo background, it was takeout to go!)
