I always love coming here to eat. Though they don’t do breakfast meals anymore, they have plenty of choice meals for lunch & dinner. The food is delicious and waiting times for it are short. There is plenty of seating inside despite the small parking lot. The atmosphere allows for easy conversation and enjoyment when eating. This restaurant is definitely worth several visits if one is traveling the area.

Very friendly and accommodating. Steak Fajitas were delicious. Special made with no onions as requested. Lunch specials are excellent. The drink that comes with is very large, which since we were traveling got it to go. Everything top notch!

Unfortunately disappointed. We visited for our second time on a Sunday at 6 pm. We ordered our food and a jumbo Margareta. The server brought the food and dissappeared. We were the only customers in the restaurant. The food was very bland. Never felt the Margareta. Definitely the second best Mexican in town by far. Our first experience was sub par and it took a long time to give a second chance. It will be our last.

Pretty good for southern Indiana’s take on Mexican food. Our waiter was nice and kept up with our drinks well enough. Salsa and chips were great, easily on par with other restaurants. Food was good, not great and overall price was not cheap for the area. I would still recommend to anyone craving Mexican while in Mt Vernon or New Harmony.

I love this place! The lunch Fajita plate is huge and the staff is awesome. I would eat here everyday if I could. I ate here at least once a week prior to Covid, post Covid they have made great strides to keep everyone distanced and safe. Everything is always clean.

Went for a Father’s Day lunch. Food was priced about average. I ordered the Popeye(spinach) Quesadilla and my father ordered a Shrimp Quesadilla. Food arrived so quickly it was almost concerning. Not sure it was made to order. The rice with my dish was very old and dry. Seemed left over from the previous day…… maybe. For some reason the Popeye Quesadilla was about a third the size of the Shrimp Quesadilla. Waiter seemed very confused when I ordered it and asked me several times what type of meat I wanted on it even though it is a vegetarian dish. The spinach quesadilla is my go to Mexican meal and this was by far the worst I have had in a restaurant. Also, on two separate occasions some person or animal in the kitchen was shrieking so loudly that customers in the dining area got up to check on it. It sounded like a dog was being beaten aggressively……surely they don’t have a dog in the kitchen…….right????

Called an order in and stated my order twice while on the phone. I got to the restaurant and 2 out of 3 dishes were wrong. Once corrected, the quality was very poor. The “cheese sauce” literally was the consistency of water. Won’t return.

Always have fast, friendly service. Prices are very reasonable, and portions are large. My sons are picky (no salsa on anything, etc), but the kitchen never complains, and always gets their requests correct.

This place is wonderful. Not a planned trip. Was just passing through town and was hungry so gave it a try. Very clean and service was excellent. The food was great and priced right. Enchilada dinner was the best I have had in a while.
