Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at El Vaquero. Drinks were delicious, service was prompt, and chips were free flowing. I only you could order the street tacos individually vs in a dinner order. I got the green enchiladas they were good. I didn’t like the cheese one bc the liquid cheese not my fave but the beef and chicken were flavorful. Hubs got beef tip chimichangas. He enjoyed them. Don’t go without trying a margarita, they are delicious.

Food was great. service was awesome. We stopped by on our way from Athens to Sandusky. The taste of the food was amazing the friendliness of the staff made the experience very enjoyable. Next time we go back through we will stop again.

Not happy. I ordered Pollo a la Diabla as I’ve ordered many times from other El Vaquero locations around Columbus and Delaware, Ohio. Love the dish, so I was excited to see this location opened within a 15 minute drive. Ordered it here for take-out, checked the receipt at pickup which reflected my order correctly, got it home and below was what they gave me. It definitely is not the dish I ordered.

We were excited to visit the establishment, but were not pleased. To begin with the chips were stale. The salsa was good. Our waiter was good, attentive. The steak fajitas were totally tasteless, rice undercooked and the fried beans were okay. We made it in time for happy hour but sad to say the Jumbo Margarita had barely any tequila and the draft beer tasted watery and flat. Would not recommend.
