This place is consistently 5-stars! I have eaten here several times since it opened, and each time I ordered something different and it has all been excellent. The service is wonderful, and the ingredients are fresh and flavorful! It is always busy, which tells me that many other locals enjoy eating here. Regardless of the busyness, the service is always top notch, and I have never had to wait long for a table or for my food. If you give this place a try, you will not be disappointed!

Glad we stopped at “El Zocalo Mexican Restaurant” after leaving a car show fundraiser at Meadow Event Park. We were driving on 301 discussing where we would stop for some lunch and saw El Zocalo just ahead of us. I was already thinking this looks good to me, when my old friend & coworker said “what do you think of here?” I love Mexican food was my response. So we stopped in. The smallish building is sharp looking, clean and inviting. Everyone working there was great; very friendly, helpful, fast and efficient. The food was great; presentation, taste and the amount was plenty. I had their great tasting unsweet tea and Tacos De Carnitas with their habanero sauce. G had the “Burrito Chipotle w/ chicken”. We both enjoyed our visit there. The delicious & well prepared food, the atmosphere and the friendly efficient staff were great.

I’ve only been here a few times but I’ll definitely keep going back if in the area! Their food is authentic, palate pleasing & eye pleasing as well! This place is definitely not your run of the mill cookie cutter Mexican restaurant thank goodness! The beans are incredible, quite possibly the best I’ve ever had anywhere! This little spot has amazing food at reasonable prices and huge portions! The servers were very attentive and we sat on the patio. The server had great recommendations and we bought everything he suggested. The nachos are amazing and the chorizo specifically at this place is authentic! Stop by for family night or date night and you will be glad you did!
