Wow! 10 out of 10 for sure!! Came across this place on FB and thought it sounded amazing. Drove from Medford to give it a try and wow! It exceeded expectations and they spoiled my son on his 10th birthday. The food was top notch and the service was second to none. Coming back until I have tried everything on the menu. Hot beef commercial will be next and breakfast too. Omg…I can’t wait to try their breakfast. Definitely worth the drive!

I am ALWAYS on the hunt for good fried pickles. I am super picky with them. These might be the best ones yet! My open face hot beef sandwich was amazing as well. Super friendly and accommodating staff. I will be back!

I really have no clue on what Albert Lee is all about. An Interstate off ramp town with a lake that no one seems to use. One thing for sure is a little yellow building on the south side of town serving up good eats including a decent burger. It’s been remodeled since my last visit which causes it to lose some nof its charm. Grain bin tin on walls and ceiling with hobby lobby kitch filling the gaps. They have an extensive menu for all sized appetites. The place is tiny. Five 4 person tables. It’s a simple place with good specials and all you can eat on certain days. They also have a liquor license for a smaller sized booze setup. If you find yourself on the south side of Albert swing on in for a quick bite. Enjoy!

Broadway burrito was a perfect brunch meal. It was hearty and filling. Hash browns were made crispy and the side of refried beans was a nice touch.

Stopped by this little gem while in MN at a conference. Cutest place ever…but the people there were awesome, we met a Vietnam Vet and his wife, a 98 year old WWII vet and his wife and the server and cook were so welcoming. I had the chicken sandwich – HUGE and some homemade pumpkin pecan bread pudding. Don’t know if I will ever be back to the area, but if I am I’m going back!

We had a spur of the moment decision with a local couple to go to The Elbow Room for an early supper. Started off with a couple of orders of THE BEST CHEESE CURDS EVER! Our waitress suggested to try them with a side portion of caramel dip. WOW! The special was perch fish fry. AWESOME! I Had the turkey commercial plate. Again, AWESOME! Dave had a double patty melt (?). He had to take some home! That was a first for him! Five gold stars for the Elbow Room! I hope we’ll be able to try them for a breakfast, ’cause they nailed the supper!

We were looking for a different “go to” in Albert Lea and saw the reviews for Elbow Room, so we thought we’d give it a try. Honestly, when we drove up we weren’t too sure about the place. Don’t let the outside of the building fool you. You open the door to a quaint, clean and well decorated cafe. The staff was so friendly, and the food is fantastic! The onion rings are the best I’ve had in a long time, the batter is light and delicious. The French Dip is piled high with meat; my husband had to cut it into smaller pieces to be able to eat it! I’m looking forward to our next trip to Albert Lea. We’ll be back, and I can’t wait to try something else, as I’m sure it will be fantastic!

Loved everything about it! Do not tend to review after only 1 visit but this place clicked. Very divey, old, run down==PERFECT!!! Burgers were excellent as was the appz. sampler. Fairly good sized menu with a nice selection of “comfort foods” They have beer and basic bar spirits. The waitress was also cooking, but it was 1645 when we were there and only 1 other patron. (Hope more help was coming in at some point) As we were leaving though folks were slowly coming in and the phone ringing alot for carryout orders. Will be visiting again this weekend since they serve breakfast and will update accordingly.

A bartender at Diamond Jo Casino recommended it. Staff were friendly; head chef was getting slammed. Very busy in house plus take out orders. Breaded mushrooms were good, coleslaw was exceptional. Plain burger with slice of raw onion was good; just needed a little seasoning. I’ll tell him next time; you can’t beat a burger for 5.75. Would definitely go again on my way to Iowa. First time stopping in Albert Lea; thumbs ! Had two Heineken 0.0 as well very reasonable 28 & change.

Sunday morning breakfast road trip and was it ever worth it! Chef Mike made the experience ever better with his interactions with my history and me. He even brought us little ‘tastes’ of his taco meat…so yummy. Then he talked about the fried cinnamon rolls so of course we had to get those. My breakfast tacos were absolutely delicious. So much food!! My husband had the chicken fried steak and eggs Again, the portions are generous!! The Bloody Mary had just the right amount of heat. 100% we are going back!! What a great experience!! Thank you Chef Mike❤️
