10/17/2018, Stopped by this morning at 0831 to buy some tacos. I ordered 4-Chicharon with egg and my total was $12.51. I was shocked at the price and asked the owner who was at the register if she had made a mistake. She sternly tells me that the tacos were not on special and stated that she charged me for a chicharron taco and added .50 for the egg on each taco. I was again taken back on her response. The owner was wrong in overpricing me and tried to justify her prices. If she had given me a chicharron taco alone and then added egg, I might of understood her reasoning however, she gave me partial chicharron and added egg–not the same for what she charged me. The owner was not pleasant and fortunately the food is tasty however, I will not stop at this restaurant anymore. If anyone has experienced the same with overpricing at this restaurant, please hit the “like”.

I used to eat there quite a bit, today I called in an order for mole as it was one of their specials. I got back to work and started to eat my food, the mole had a overly strong flavor, something was missing. The chicken in the mole was hard and dry. I called to complain but first stated I was sorry to make a complaint. the man that answered was a bit rude to me because he didn’t like the fact that I stated that the food had an ugly flavor and the chicken was hard and dry. He asked me twice what was wrong and again I replied with my same response as earlier.. he just wasn’t having it. I ended the call because he was just going to upset me and maybe he could’ve just made things right or at least could’ve been a little more kind instead of trying to make it seem as if I’m wrong.

I saw this place on my way to work and it seemed promising. The old ladies seemed nice at first but were quick with attitude because I didn’t speak spanish. I ordered 2 bean and cheese tacos and a sweet tea. The bean and cheese were less than 3 dollars and with the went up to 6.45. I asked the cashier is the sweet tea 3 dollars? And her response was, “you don’t want it?” I said sure and paid. Very rude. The cheese was a cheap quick melt, which wasn’t even melted, and the beans tasted of nothing. The green salsa was very bland and no spice at all plus watery. The tea was more ice than tea and tasted like the nozzle hadn’t been cleaned in months. The 5 stat ratings are for sure people who don’t know anybody about food. Elena is there supposedly and she should be ashamed of her establishment and cheap food. Just buy cheddar and you can be rude. Serve great tea and you can be rude. This place is a dud on the west side and I hope to see it closed soon.

The tortillas could be better, but the food is good and the place is clean and social distancing is being practiced, as well as mask enforcement.. No biggie. Enjoy good Mexican food and if you’re in the neighborhood stop in and be on your way.

I had been to this restaurant one time before I told my girlfriend that their tortillas were excellent. And still the case, if you want fresh homemade tortillas this is the place to get them. Food is delicious and fresh as well. Small but food is delicious and services quick

This is a small neighborhood business. The entrance to the cafe has no mask no service. Clearly visible on the door. Of the 12 customers there, seven people walked in without a mask and no one said anything to them. Two of the total of 12 customers were hacking and coughing excessively. Most of the customers were elderly, including myself. The huevos rancheros plate serve to me was lukewarm. The tortillas were hot. The elderly waitress was moving around like a teenager with her paying attention to all of the tables. I had seen this place and wanted to go check it out for over a year. I finally went there today and I am sorry I did. I have no intention of returning to this Cafe. However, the food servings were more inline with portions meant for the elderly. The majority of the customers greeted each other and the waitress by name.

I love the potatoes and eggs with cheese and the tortilla toasted. Everytime I walk in they always bring my tea without me having to ask and always tell me the usual and I say yes. They always know what I want. I recommend eating there its really good.

Do not eat here. I say this after ordering two chorizo & egg tacos, and half way thru my first taco, I discover a worm. It had been cooked, and i wanted to throw up. I called, and they started questioning me, of when i ordered. I told them around 10:30am and they said, no that it couldn’t be a worm, that the chorizo was fresh today. I told them i would not make a big deal, i just want my money back. I brought it back and still was in denial about it, even though i showed them the worm. They continued to say i put it in there, and i told them why would i and why would i waste gas to come back. I finally got my money back, will never order from here again.
