I’m glad that they finally have opened one up out on the westside. The place has a good variety of freshly made food and also packaged food to-go. I usually will find something here that I would want to eat. For this visit, I ordered their chimichurri steak sandwich and also picked up a Cobb salad. We also got some items from the case. The indoor seating options are pretty small, but they also have some covered outdoor seating available.

I love Elephants but they have some kinks to work out. Went there on a Sunday morning for a coffee drink and they were out of Oatmilk. When you have a grocery store a few feet away, why not send a staff member to go get some supplies to take care of the customer? They have some other outages as well. I have high hopes they will get the kinks out the next time we visit as I really like their food.

They need to figure out how to effectively take orders and how to execute them without missing an order. Came on a busy rainy day and we were told to order & line up either next to the soup counter or the counter with coffee and cookies. I went to the soup counter since it was the closet to me anyways and I became first in line. I ordered coffee which I found out 15min later that was never going to come so I had to follow up with it and it was somehow “lost” There’s so many counters to order from.. maybe designate one line for soup only and the other for coffee and cookies only etc.. I know you guys are new but here’s some constructive criticism for ya

Italian sandwich was ok but overpriced. Service needs a lot of improvement. A pre made sandwich from the counter shouldn’t take 25 mins. I am bit skeptical about the hygiene standards in their open kitchen. None of the kitchen staff were wearing any gloves and there were fries strewn over the floor all over.
