I have been eying this place for months now. Finally went about an hour before closing. Very cute, very old and small building. There are but a few tables outside under a big tree that gives you plenty of shade. There was a line but it went pretty fast. The paper menu helped me decide what I wanted while I was in line. The front lady that took my order was so nice, funny and chatty, loved her. People seemed very pleased with their foods. I chose a full rack of ribs. I had no idea how big these ribs were. We did not get any sides since we are not crazy about baked beans. The hot sauce was good but barely hot. I thought that the ribs were under seasoned and a little dry, it really needed lots of sauce. I really wanted to love it. I think the price was great for the quantity.

Absolutely one of a kind BBQ place. I got a burnt ends family dinner 1 lb meat and a 16 oz coleslaw 16 oz baked beans. Everything is phenomenal. The baked beans was the best. Strongly recommend.

It’s like a weekend Barbecue with friends every time you go to this Family Owned joint. The food is phenomenal from the beef to the chicken all cooked to perfection and with love. The level of flavor is at an all time high here and is truly an experience to be had.

I felt like I was at a backyard BBQ picnic at Eli’s! Very friendly, and down-home goodness! We had a half slab of ribs, small black-eyed pea salad, chopped pork, and two additional small sides for takeout. Excellent flavor! We will be back!

We just left the beach and I Googled Barbeque in Dunedin I got 3 choices but when we drove by this quaint mom and pops we knew it would be the real deal. We definitely were not disappointed and they were celebrating the life of Eli one if the founders ao we got to participate and enjoy good food and people. We definitely will be going back for more.
