I’m not sure if someone called off the Sunday we went for breakfast or if the owners are the only ones who work here, but the service was not good. They definitely needed a hostess and a waiter, at least. We waited a decent bit to be seated and then for our order to be taken. Others waited longer than us, some of them leaving after waiting so long without even being noticed, it seemed. When the food did arrive, it was nothing to write home about. Not disgusting, but not very good imo. My order was incorrect, but because they were so backed up, i didn’t bother to make a fuss. Some were sending their food back, others left whole meals on the table, paid their check, and left. The restaurant itself was very nice as far as decor and cleanliness. Unfortunately, given my family’s experience and the lack of service, I don’t think we’ll be returning despite it being one of the only places open on Sundays in the area.

If I could give 100 stars I would! The staff is so very kind. Our first visit made us fall in love with them. Sam and Kim sat with us for a bit and prayed over us. It was beautiful! The food was amazing! Our second visit we were greeted by name. Again the food was delicious! We felt like we were visiting in our family’s home. I highly recommend this place!

Amazing experience! They really paid a great amount of attention to us and made our experience very personal. We are a big family of 6 and they did an awesome job with the food, coffee, and drinks. I was very, very, impressed. I haven’t had service like that in a really long time. Can’t recommend enough. They even gave our kids little gifts!

The restaurant feels like I’m eating at grandma’s house. It was such a calming environment. The people were the friendliest I’ve ever met. The food was outstanding with great portions. It felt like home.

This is a down-to-earth old style, old-fashioned diner; not a modern cute cafe. It has a fair amount of seating but was pretty empty. I enjoyed the breakfast special and coffee. The hot cakes are tasty and spongy. It smells amazing in there because the room connects to Achenbach’s bakery.

Very disappointed for the brunch, the chef was too slow to make it and waited for 50 minutes.

I’ve been here before and I’ll certainly return. This time I had the teriyaki burger with fried onions and cheddar cheese. It was a burger like mom would make. All the food is fresh and delicious. The owner greets you personally!

This diner style spot is right on the main strip in Leola. It is a great location because it’s connected to Achenbach’s Bakery! The restaurant is nicely decorated and has plenty of seating. We had the Eli’s breakfast special which is two eggs, potatoes, 2 pieces of bacon, one sausage link, and two pancakes or french toast. Service was fast and food was good and very filling.

First of all, if you’re open on Sundays in New Holland, PA, I already love you to the moon and back! Second, the service is wonderful! The staff is very welcoming, and before I get to ask for more coffee, my cup is already filled. Third, the cream chipped beef over hashbrown that I ordered was amazing, compared to what is offered around the area. They haven’t seen the last of me and there are more to try at this joint.
