Ella’s is an unexpected gem. The cheese curds are the best curds in WI – state fair style with a delicious homemade ranch. The short rib sliders are a must, absolutely fantastic. French onion soup was hot, crust stayed crispy while the bread soaked up the flavorful soup, with the perfect amount of melty cheese. Steak Diane was smothered in a cream sauce. Only thing that was a bit negative was the size of the medallions, they were very thin and a bit fatty, but still tender and melt in your mouth. Green beans were cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back!

First time trying this place and will be back. The cheese curds were my favorite by far. You could tell that they were fresh not frozen and they reminded me of the ones at State Fair which are hard to find. Also the customer service and attentiveness of the the waitress, Kathy, was better than I have had in a long time. She was so kind and truly made it a very positive experience.

Stopped by Ella’s for wings and was very pleased! First of all service was EXCELLENT from our waitress “Kathy”. She suggested the cheese curd appetizer and they were some of the best I’ve had. This place checked all the boxes, good service and good food, we’ll be back.

We had great service and awesome food. We ordered the smoked meatloaf sandwich with the special chips and the chicken wings. We are not usually big “ oh let’s order meatloaf people” but it was excellent. The smoke on the meatloaf was so good! And the Brady old fashion was really good as well. This place is consistently good.

Ran to Dousman to get water and decided to try a new place for lunch. I googled this place and it looked cute by the pictures. Arrived shortly after opening on a Sunday and there were not too many people there. Just how I like it. Our waiter Maxwell was perfect the entire time we were there. My husband got the meatloaf sandwich and I got the Ella burger. We always split the sandwiches so we both can try it. He said next time he’s gonna get the Ella burger and not share. . The meatloaf sandwich was good, just the burger was better. I got the chips and liked them. I like the interior with all the pictures and I noticed it he was windows were garage doors. I would LOVE to come back here in the summer and sit outside or roll up one of those garage doors. Oh darn, I guess we have to come back.

Drove 45 minutes to meet our son for dinner at Ella’s. Never been there before, but glad we took a chance. Great outdoor atmosphere, friendly service and the food was excellent. I personally recommend the 2 inch thick Pork Chop with Apple chutney. It was awesome.

Had a Friday night reservation for 7:30. Had to wait a few min longer to be seated, but once we had a table it took about 10-15min before were were acknowledged by a server who had to ask if we were helped yet.

We had been here before but it was about 1 1/2 yrs ago. It was awful that time, poor service, food was not great, the manager was terrible when we complained. Flash forward till today. A friend who comes here a lot told us to give it another try. We did. It was great! Our server Cathy was amazing. She was attentive and friendly and we left feeling like we had made a friend. The burger my husband ordered was perfect. it was cooked exactly right and he raved about it. I got my typical go to which is the grilled chicken sandwich. It was seriously the best chicken sandwich I think I ever had. Prices are reasonable. I’m looking forward to warmer weather because they have fantastic patio seating. I’m glad we gave it another chance.
