Chef Chris truly exceeded our expectations with the extraordinary dining experience my girlfriend and I had at Ellingtons last weekend. Our journey commenced with the smoked trout rillette and the potato croquettes, two appetizers that undoubtedly left us wanting more. The symphony of flavors in both dishes was nothing short of delightful.

My fiancé and I stumbled upon this hidden gem and had the best meal we’ve ever had! The lamb was cooked perfectly and his petit filet melted in our mouths. Service was great and so were the drinks. 10/10 recommend!!!

I wish I saw the newer reviews sooner. We are staying near by and we always try to go to one nicer restaurant on vacation and we picked this place. The food looks better than it was. I will give the lobster ravioli a 10 of 10 and that’s why it got 2 stars. We walked in and waitstaff was nice but took a few minutes to seat us despite only having about 4 people at the bar and maybe 2 other tables. Should have taken the hint when a person asked the bartender what they suggested on the menu, and the bartender suggested another restaurant. We ordered the last lobster ravioli at 6, they are open until 10. You could tell that staff was annoyed because there were already other things off the menu but I would be too. My trout was not seasoned very well it was overcooked but the skin wasn’t crispy I had to peel the meat off it. The steak was was way over cooked almost well done when asked for medium rare. The sauce wasn’t a sauce more like a broth. If we weren’t in a hurry we would have sent it back.

It was an underwhelming experience for my husband and I when we came here for dinner on a Sunday night. The place had potential, love their decor but I got the impression it’s a place more apt for business lunches. They seemed understaffed so the service wasn’t great, long wait times, and unavailable items on the menu. Some of the items were also overpriced in my opinion, specifically their charcuterie board which was mostly fruit and unmemorable meats and cheeses.

We randomly stopped at Ellington’s for our anniversary dinner because the building looked pretty and the menu sounded good. I’m so glad we stopped here because everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel and the restaurant are both beautiful and upscale. The food was amazing and the dessert was really good too. My husband and I both loved our meals. The service was excellent and our waiter Christopher was really friendly and made great recommendations. I absolutely loved the whole vibe of this restaurant and I would 1000% come back again. Ellington’s was a really great choice for celebrating our anniversary!

Surprisingly not as good as I was expecting! I read some good things but my dish was oddly bland. I love shrimp and grits, but this one was pretty underwhelming. I appreciated the vibe of the place, but for the prices, I probably wouldn’t come back.

The restaurant offered a nice patio setting which featured a beautiful view. The staff wasn’t the friendliest and the menu was a bit different didn’t have much to choose from. A big con to my visit was my guest who accompanied me had to send her side dish back 3 times. Literally 3 times due to her item being cold. I looked over the most recent reviews and they all reflect accurately to this business.

We came for steak and Ellington’s did not disappoint. We enjoyed a beautiful steak and some amazing drinks. The restaurant was quiet, and provide a great break from the Nashville bustle to relax and chat with friends. Would highly recommend.

I’ve had to revise down my previous 5 stars down to just two. Staff did a great job however the food and drinks have taken a serious hit. Menu is sparse with our favorites, (peach porkchops), now gone as are our favorite drinks. We came for dinner but seeing the limited menu just elected for some appetizers. What showed up were taco chips, (about 6 of them) and pimento cheese and the former “Jumbo Shrimp”, now has been downsized to live up to the name of “shrimp”. All of which I could have picked up at Kroger on the way home. Ellington’s is in the Fairlane Hotel which was an old bank as I remember from my childhood. It has a distinctive “Don Draper” vibe. There is a variety of options with a large bar, cocktail tables, in-door dining as well as a great patio.
