It’s great to be greeted with a smile that comes along with great food. I did indeed return for more gumbo! This gumbo was good, but this time, there was no crab in it nor shrimp. That was kinda disappointing, but it was still good to say the least.

It was my first time trying Ellis Seafood after passing them for the past four years. Ms. Julie was a saint when I walked in because I was definitely nervous . She gave me the most welcoming smile and never once made me feel rushed or stupid for not knowing what I wanted. In the end, I chose to just try their fries because you can tell if a restaurant is good if the fries are good lol. And their fries didn’t disappoint! The food was amazing! If anyone ever wants to stop in Jxn for a bite to eat, then I highly recommend Ellis Seafood!

Carb still was cold and mushy. Fish was undercooked. Tartar sauce in packs are disgusting. Shrimp taste freezer burn. Owner have a nasty attitude so the workers get it from her. Wish I could give No stars. The health department need to check them out before someone get sick eating undercooked seafood..
