Elote (the Mexican name for corn on the cob) is a simple concept with slow roasted meats, fresh ingredients and marvelous margaritas. We wanted to make it quick, easy and a place for the neighbors to sit, relax and watch the games on 4 flat screens with white queso and black bean dip and a choice of 10 beers on tap. Because of our gluten free following at Oliva, the entire menu is gluten free (with exception of flour tortillas) and we also have soy cheese and tofu sour cream for those that are lactose intolerant. The decor is clean and modern (with no neon signs to flash in your face). In short, we built a restaurant that we would hang out on a Sunday evening, and it is close to home, but worth the drive!
Contemporary and warm counter-order Mexican eatery serving tacos, burritos, margaritas & tap beers. Based on 690 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.2 stars. Price $

I ordered from Uber wats, and it was really one of the worst Mexican food in Dallas. I got the trio sampler, the enchiladas was so small and tasteless, although the spinach cream was good. The tacos- I have no words for it. They added tomatoes, lettuce cheese and a tiny bit of salsa. There are far more better establishments (in Keller too) that make authentic tacos. The elote, was the star of my lunch.

This used to be a somewhat regular spot for me to eat. I was happy to be in the area and able to eat this weekend. The menu boards were upgraded to digital but everything else was familiar. The Elote dip is still a favorite. I tried the taquitos on this visit. This is a solid choice for Keller. They offer WiFi and have at least one booth with an outlet. I was able to get a few things done while I ate. Leaving full and sleepy is the equivalent to leaving happy.

Very chill environment for some authentic Mexican food and supreme Elote! Almost as if it was from a street cart, the elote satisfies your tastebuds of home. Enjoy happy hour for draft beers and enlighten the mods with incredible margaritas! Lastly, the food will melt your taste buds with delightful flavor! Enjoy!

Place is clean. Nacho serving size is nice. I like that ita not regular restaurant tortilla chips. Elote itself is a little plain for my preference which is why the rating is a little low. I did enjoy the nacho and the meat was cooked well.

Clean? No, it’s a messy joint. Although, people have differing standards. This joint is kind beat up, unkept.

So me and my daughter went here today and I had high hopes for a elote on the cob….. did not get that. Seemed like frozen or canned corn with elote dressings, it wasn’t bad but not great.

My husband and I went there for the first time tonight. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. They also have great weekday deals like kids eat free on Tuesdays. My husband got the street tacos, and I got the trio sampler plate. The enchilada, taco, and taquitos were all delicious. We both got the charro beans and they were excellent. The cilantro rice was also very good. This will definitely be our go to place for Mexican food.

Nice people, but a waste of money when compared with other local Mexican Spots. I just spent 40$ on tub small tubs of meat one of which was supposed to be “Asada”. It tastes like canned beef. The braised beef was only marginally worth the money as well. Been coming here for years and it will be the last time after today. Many other establishments would have actually given you Steak for that price, as they advertised. Go to Dos Hermanos or literally anywhere else if you value your hard earned dollar.

This place was alright. I was expecting some crazy good elote but it tasted similar to what I buy frozen at Costco and my salad was wilted and it just wasn’t good. The meat didn’t taste fresh. The staff seemed confused about how to take orders. I think there is definitely potential there or maybe they were having a bad day but I wouldn’t eat there again. I was pretty disappointed especially since I picked the restaurant. I was sad we spent 42 bucks and the tacos didn’t even come with sides.
