The shrimp was a great size, fresh, tender and juicy; they also give you a nice amount. The cajun fries were pretty decent. I’d def return for an order of shrimp. I’m not sure why this place has an avg rating of 3.8, but all was well during my visit including customer service. The guy even tossed in an extra sauce for free.

I like that this restaurant gives the inner city youth an opportunity and the young men they have working at the counter do a very good job of not only serving and assisting their customers but also being very friendly and polite. The young men I’ve encountered in this restaurant have done a very good job in representing the good core values the leadership of this restaurant would like the public to see when choosing their establishment. The shrimp in this place is beyond excellent! They have other items on the menu but I think it’s safe to say when you go to a place named “Shrimp City” you order the shrimp and theirs is really good. They definitely have a regular in me as long as the excellent food and service continues

The shrimp have a nice Cajun flavor as well as the fries..tried today for the first time..will be back soon!..dinner should come with some slaw or a hot pepper for the price. Loved the sweet grandma cooking the food.

Placed an order from DoorDash so I can’t comment on the customer service but the food was great and I have zero complaints. I ordered the seafood boil with lobster tail, 3 extra shrimp and Cajun garlic butter. The shrimp were good, decent size and cooked perfectly, lobster tail was on the small size but that was to be expected and once again cooked perfectly. The crab legs were a tad over cooked but still flavorful and plentiful and to top it off three pieces of corn, potatoes and for some reason five boiled eggs. I like eggs in my seafood boils, just never seen so many in one boil before. Will definitely order again!

The fried and coconut shrimp are delicious but I couldn’t give them 5 stars because the shrimp and grits were awful! The grits needed salt and they were so lumpy my sister thought it was oatmeal! Yuck! But everything else I have had has been good.

Although some of the reviews stated bad customer service, I had to give them a chance and I’m so happy I did! Sooooo good. Hot and fresh even with it being delivered. The Cajun wedges are perfect, hand-cut and freshly seasoned. Very pleased, I hope when I do go in, it will be just as pleasant as of an experience because I will be getting again!

Food is consistently good, service is consistently good. I’ve been coming here since they opened and the food never changes. And my order is always correct. My only caution is to give them 20ish more minutes than estimated for your order to be ready, cus sometimes the timing online is inconsistent.
