The Hot Honey Chicken Fingers were all that you want sauced chicken to be: crispy on the outside, tender chicken, flavorful tasty sauce. Potato wedges were good too. Our order was hot and ready on time, friendly service, clean restaurant and bathrooms. Well worth the stop off the freeway— wish I could take that Hot Honey Sauce with me!

It’s not much and kind of hidden in the area but I tried the chicken and waffles. Very affordable, delicious, service was good and very fast. Everything on their menu is very reasonably priced and service is very fast. Waffles were quite flavorful especially with the syrup on top and not too chewy, kinda soft and fluffy. Chicken had good seasoning, crust was somewhat softer and but good texture to it, pretty good as standard chicken goes. My friend got the breakfast burrito which was a pretty decent size and he seemed to enjoy it. Definitely recommend coming here for breakfast, lunch or dinner in the future.

Food was great. Some of us had the breakfast menu while others had the chicken and waffles. Service was quick, hot, and delicious. The chicken and potato wedges were crispy but not greasy. Waffles were light and fluffy on the inside while crispy on the outside. The take hold container kept my food hot while I prepared and cut up another meal. The owner was very friendly, efficient and accommodating.

Had the chicken and waffle sandwich and it was great! The waffles are very soft-so if you’re wanting a crispy waffle situation this isn’t it. Also loved the wedges! Nice to go somewhere different that’s not a chain.

This place was great, it was easy to find and had plenty of parking. The food was tasty and made fresh to order so it came out super hot. Chicken was tasty and tender with a little crunch, but not too much. The waffle was sweet and fluffy and they worked perfectly together. Absolutely will be coming back and trying the sandwich next.

We ordered Elsa’s from a delivery service and we were not disappointed. My daughter and I both ordered the hot honey chicken and waffles. The tenders were delicious and the waffles were really good. The prices were super reasonable, and we will definitely order again.

Elsa’s is located in the plaza that formerly housed Lansing Athletics. Simple easy on the eyes menu. Waffles were fluffy and decent size for the price and were the portions. Sauces chosen were flavorful with nice bite to the spicy selection. Wedges weren’t crisp needed a couple more minutes. Unfortunately Elsa’s does not have a bone in chicken selection which leads me to the review of the chicken tenders. These are the pre made frozen style, definitely not made in house fresh. I’m sure this keeps costs down as the price point was low. Definitely disappointed for a restaurant that features Chicken & Waffles. The hours could be better also. Doesn’t open till lunch time. Worth a try for quick cheap munchie food.

Love this new place. I was a bit spoiled in terms of chicken and waffle restaurants in my previous city, and Elsa’s has filled that void. Had the buffalo chicken wrap, chicken and waffles, and a cold brew coffee. All of it was delicious. Super affordable too.

Elsa’s is a a one of a kind down home gem .. I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to chicken and they had it.. it was juicy and tender, the breading has the perfect amount of flake and crunch for the mouth feel .. the flavor was perfff.. definitely a 10/10 would definitely recommend.. all the smells tastes and feels included
